Living in a private house has many advantages: the presence of clean air, peace and quiet of village life - all these factors generate positive emotions. The presence of a bath cannot but contribute to an additional good positive mood.

Sauna building 4 x 3 meters - the best solution for cottages and private houses. The reason is that in such an area you can compactly place everything you need.

Peculiarities

The 4 x 3 meter sauna is ideal for a family of 4 and guests. Before starting the construction of walls, you should select the appropriate site, prepare the necessary communications.

Often the bathhouse is built as an additional extension to the house, and there are a number of good reasons for this.

  • the proximity of the communications center (water, sewer drain);
  • thermal conductivity factor, when one of the walls of the bath is an integral part of the house;
  • comfort, when from the house, without going out into the street, you can go directly into the room.

Any bathhouse consists of several blocks:

  • steam room;
  • shower room;
  • bathroom;
  • dressing room;
  • restroom.

The main material for the construction of a bath is logs. It is necessary to take into account the fact that the thickness of the material in this case will reduce the area of the premises.

It is not difficult to build a 3x4 m bath with your own hands., here it is not necessary to have experience, it is only important to make the project documentation correctly.

Layouts

Before drawing up a plan-diagram of a future object in a country house or a country house, you should remember about important details. The room is divided into several compartments, and their sizes must be strictly proportional.

To do this, it is recommended to have a good idea of how much a person will usually rest in a 3 by 4 bath. This seems to be the main parameter against which the dimensions of future premises will be built.

The areas of the premises cannot be the same, but their sizes will be dictated primarily by this factor, the basic size of 4x3 meters.

To save space, the stove is placed in the area of the rest room, it is adjacent to the wall. The decision to place the furnace is another significant factor in solving the issue of saving free space.

You should always remember about the danger of fire, therefore, when arranging the furnace, all fire safety measures should be observed. Very often, the stove is arranged in such a way that the furnace door goes into the dressing room.

This allows, above all, to:

  • save heat in the cold season;
  • effectively use the freed up space.

From a technical point of view, drawing up a plan-scheme does not present any difficulty, for this you do not need to have a higher engineering education.

There are several important things to keep in mind when laying out a schematic plan.

  • Entry is allowed from either side.
  • The closer the sewer runoff is made in relation to the main object, the cheaper the construction cost will be and the easier operation will be.
  • The steam room in most cases is made more spacious than all other areas. It is equipped with a wood-burning or electric stove.
  • Washing can be done directly in the steam room.
  • The width of the shelves varies, but most often their sizes range from 40 to 70 cm.
  • The bathroom and shower are often combined and turned into a separate room.
  • The relaxation room is heated by the heat coming from the stove and from the steam room.If the room is normally insulated and insulated, then this will be quite enough so that even in the bitter frosts, an acceptable temperature is present in the rest corner.

Often homeowners build a separate facility that is separate from the main house. A bath of this type has been popular since time immemorial, it can often be found in our time. It turns into a self-contained object, on which there is a large veranda, porch and the like. In fact, the bathhouse is becoming a universal complex where you can not only take a steam bath, but also sit at a large table with friends and relatives, watch a movie, drink tea, and so on.

The terrace is not so small, ranging in size from 150 to 400 cm, which is quite enough for 8 - 10 people to sit at the table. A special role is given to the dressing room.

In the dressing room there is an opportunity:

  • store firewood and coal;
  • dressing room can be made in the dressing room;
  • here you can equip a shower and a bathroom;
  • make a recreation room and a billiard room.

Special attention is paid to fire safety. The area around the stove is wrapped with galvanized iron, gaskets are made of refractory material. The floors are also sheathed with metal, fences are made so that the coals from the stove cannot get onto the wooden floor under any circumstances. It can also be sheathed with stainless steel sheets, the thickness of which must be at least 1.5 mm. In any case, sheets of refractory material, such as flat slate, should be placed under the metal sheets.

The tambour also has an important function, despite its modest size. This is a "pillow" that allows you to maintain a unique microclimate in the bath, especially in the cold season.

The presence of a visor and insulated windows on the veranda can be reliably protected from bad weather and freezing temperatures.

An important indicator that should be taken into account is the number of vacationers who will steam at the same time. For three people, about 5 square meters will be enough. The dressing room can become a full-fledged relaxation room, where you can place equipment and even a music center. The area of the dressing room is calculated from the indicator that about 1.1 square meters are required per person. m.

Water can be heated from the interaction of the tank of the water heater directly with the stove or boiler. In the washroom, it also makes sense to equip a shower room.

The device of the room depends on:

  • furnace dimensions;
  • the amount of space between the oven and the table;
  • how the shelves are located in the steam room.

In the drawings, with the calculation of the amount of space per vacationer, you can see the plan without taking into account the area that is required for the presence of a table, chairs, equipment, and so on. In the steam room, the length is more than two meters, the width of the shelves is more than one meter. Such dimensions create comfortable conditions for vacationers. Often, seating is equipped in the steam room, the dimensions of such places are 0.5x0.5 meters.

Main advantages:

  • protection from negative atmospheric phenomena;
  • external area 18 sq. m;
  • internal area 16 sq. m;
  • veranda 3 sq. m;
  • steam room 5.4 sq. meters;
  • washing room 4.3 sq. meters;
  • recreation room 3.4 sq. meters.

It is possible to purchase a typical bath in a specialized store, its price is approximately 480 thousand rubles without finishing and insulation.

Materials (edit)

You can build an object from a variety of materials, in any case, the room will be finished with wood. Wood is an ideal material; in this regard, nothing has changed over the past thousand years.

Advantages:

  • wood has optimal thermal conductivity;
  • does not emit poisons and does not contain chemicals;
  • has an optimal expansion coefficient.

The frame bath is made of wood. There are frequent cases when the walls in the steam rooms are revetted with conifers; linden is often used. People who have sufficient material means decorate the walls with abashi wood.In addition to being a fashionable material, it really does release useful components that have a positive effect on the human body. Linden also has beneficial and healing properties. Linden is distinguished by wear resistance and the ability to maintain its shape and color for a long time.

Abashi is a tropical plant with outstanding heat retention properties. The density of the wood is high, the color is yellowish.

Very often in Russia, especially in the regions of Siberia, baths are trimmed with cedar. This tree has a number of useful properties, it releases special essential substances that are useful for humans and have disinfecting qualities.

In this case, the bath can be built from:

  • reinforced concrete blocks;
  • cinder block;
  • bricks;
  • aerated concrete.

But most often the "box" is made in the form of a log house.

Cedar is able to withstand significant temperature loads and has a pleasant smell. It is not recommended to decorate the ceiling of the steam room with cedar, hot resin can ooze from the wood and provoke skin damage. The wood should not be processed with any chemistry, especially for the lining, which will be present in the steam room.

Larch is a material that is not as expensive as cedar or abashi, but it is also quite commonly used. It must be added that for a steam room, the material should only be of the highest or first grade, savings in this matter are inappropriate.

When equipping a steam room, one should not forget about waterproofing, it can be:

  • mineral wool;
  • roofing material;
  • silicone sealants.

Often, the walls are sheathed with aspen, the tree is also quite functional, capable of serving for a long time. Bath floors are made both concrete, covering with clinker or ordinary tiles, and wooden. If the floor is wooden, then it will not be as durable as concrete, for such a floor it is recommended to use a tongue-and-groove board.

Design

The dressing room is equipped in a very different style of interior. Recently, the Finnish style has been in vogue, now Hellenistic motives are very often used. But hi-tech and modern are also often used. Modern materials allow you to design a rest room in accordance with the wishes of your own imagination. Often in such premises you can find marble, expensive tree species or custom-made furniture.

Russian-style baths have not gone out of fashion, and occupy the lion's share of the market. Stone and brick stoves are also often found in a wide variety of households, this material remains the main material when it comes into contact with high temperatures.

Red brick walls are also not such a rarity in baths of all types.

Much attention is paid to tiles ranging from super-expensive clinker tiles to cheap Chinese tiles. Tile is a durable material, there are a huge number of very different tiles on the market, there are plenty to choose from.

Another material that has recently been actively conquering the market is porcelain stoneware. This artificial stone is much stronger than ceramic tiles; it is fired at higher temperatures. This is one of the reasons why porcelain stoneware is in great demand.
