Sweet cream is an American novelty of the famous breeder Brad Gates. The tomato variety was developed for protected ground and introduced to the world in 2016 in the USA. After that, he quickly gained popularity in all countries, he is also popular in Russia. The original and synonym for the name is Sweet Cream.

This is a carp variety belonging to the indeterminate group of tomatoes. Tall, reaches a height of 1.8 m, however, in some sources it is noted as medium-sized, with a height of up to 1.5 m. In any case, its stems are quite strong, even thick. Shows the best yield in a special shelter or greenhouse. Fruit ripening is amicable, so the harvest can be harvested with a whole brush.

A feature of the Sweet Cream variety is its fruits of a unique color and shape. First of all, they are elongated, plum-shaped, with a characteristic pointed spout, sometimes described as pepper-shaped. Sizes are larger than cocktail sizes. Fruits weigh 50-60 grams, but there are also tomatoes weighing 100 grams. At technical maturity, the fruits are creamy with green stripes. Ripe cream has a bright golden yellow color, on which red and orange stripes appear, the color may change during the ripening process. A very high fruit set is noted (practically without gaps). Ripe fruits are transportable, while maintaining their integrity. And also the fruits are resistant to cracking.

According to the testimony of many tasters and simply tomato lovers, the taste characteristics are excellent. True to the name, Sweet Cream tomatoes have a sweet taste with caramel and fruity notes, some even compare it to the taste of candy.

Variety Sweet cream has a very early ripening period. But at the same time, the fruiting of the culture is stretched, and the fruits can be removed until frost.

This variety can be formed into several trunks, it is usually grown in 2-4 stems. After the seedlings have taken root, a peg-support should be fixed 10 centimeters from the bush, to which the stem is tied with ribbons so as not to damage the trunk.

In no case should the soil be allowed to dry out. Watered once a week, in the afternoon. After the irrigation procedure, the soil must be loosened in order to improve its water permeability.
