Early love - this variety with a romantic name seems to be made for busy vegetable growers. He is not very whimsical in care, he is resistant to ailments and external conditions. Like many other varieties of the Siberian collection, the Early Love tomato is distinguished primarily by its early maturity.

Breeding history

The culture in question was developed by employees of serious enterprises - the Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the "Seeds of Altai" agricultural company with the participation of IE Kondakov SN. Well-known domestic breeders Kondakov, Kudryavtseva, Fotev, Kotelnikova were involved in the work. The originators filed an application for admission to use in 2007, and already 2008 became the year of entering culture into the State Register of the Russian Federation.

Description of the variety

Variety Early Love is a determinant type of growth, in greenhouse conditions it grows up to one and a half meters, on open ground - up to 2 m, so the yield here will be slightly higher. The bushes are slightly leafy, not standard, the foliage is dark green, the leaves are small, opposite, lanceolate, corrugated, with teeth. The culture stem has a pretty rigid foundation. Stepsons are weaker and thinner, they are slightly lighter than the main trunk. Ripe fruits are not able to withstand the plant, fixation to any support is required.

The roots are shallow from the soil surface, fibrous system. Equally poorly, the culture tolerates both a small amount of moisture and its excess. The brushes are of medium size and thickness, each tying 5-6 fruits. Up to 5 brushes can form on one stem. At the same time, the very first of them give out larger tomatoes, while others form fruits that are more even in shape.

The main qualities of the fruit

Vegetables have a rounded, slightly ribbed shape. The density of tomatoes is average. The unripe fruit is light green in color, the color of the ripe berry is red. There are 4 seed chambers in tomatoes, and more are found. The berries themselves are small, the average weight is 82-95 grams.

Taste characteristics

Early love was created as a salad variety, but it is also good as a pickling variety, while it is best suited for whole-fruit preservation. Tomatoes contain a large amount of sugars, acids, vitamins. Among other things, delicious pastes, juices and other tomato preparations are obtained.

Ripening and fruiting

As the name suggests, the crop is early in maturity. Only 3 months are needed for the planted seeds so that the gardener has the opportunity to enjoy fresh fruits.

Yield

The variety is called yielding because it is possible to remove 5-5.2 kilograms from one square meter of the plantation.

The timing of planting seedlings and planting in the ground

The seeding schedule looks rather traditional. Seedlings are sown in the first spring month. Transplantation of matured vegetation to a permanent place occurs after 60-65 days.

Growing tomato seedlings is an extremely important process, because it largely depends on whether the gardener will be able to harvest at all. All aspects must be taken into account, from seedbed preparation to planting in the ground.

Landing scheme

The planting density of the culture is 50 by 40 centimeters. At the same time, up to 6 plants can be placed on one "square".

Planting a tomato is a very important and painstaking business. In order to get a good harvest of tomatoes, you need to competently approach the issue of planting. When planting a tomato in the ground, it is necessary to take into account many factors - correctly determine the timing, prepare the soil, correctly calculate the distance between plants, take into account the rules of crop rotation.

Growing and care

When growing the culture in question, both pinching, shaping, and tying the trunks to the support are necessary. In this case, the culture should be grown in one stem. Otherwise, the care is not difficult and contains all those activities that are typical for caring for any other variety of tomatoes.

Watering tomatoes is not difficult. After planting, the plant is watered at such intervals that the soil remains moist. In dry weather, when there is no rain for a long time, watering can be carried out every day, but usually the beds with tomatoes are irrigated 2-3 times a week.
The methods of tying tomato bushes can vary significantly, depending on the availability of available material, the method of fixation, and also the variety. In general, it is recommended to adhere to the following scheme: first, the central stems are grabbed, and then, as the fruits ripen, the lateral branches.
One of the important conditions for tomato agricultural technology is the correct formation of the bush. The formation of tomato bushes means performing the following steps: pinching, pinching, trimming the leaves, normalizing the ovaries.

A plant needs different micronutrients at each stage of growth. All fertilizers can be divided into two groups: mineral and organic. Folk remedies are often used: iodine, yeast, bird droppings, eggshells.

It is important to observe the rate and period of feeding. This also applies to folk remedies and organic fertilizers.

Treatment and prevention of diseases and pests
When growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, diseases often occur due to a violation of the temperature regime and excessive humidity. The most common diseases are fungal (late blight, cladosporium, rot).
The fight against diseases and pests of tomatoes in open areas can be quite difficult. This is because nightshades are exposed to a wide variety of pathogens and insect pests.

Resistant to adverse weather conditions

The Siberian variety is frost-resistant, excellently resists a decrease in night temperatures. With regard to drought resistance, it is at an average level. If the humidity is low, and the regularity of watering is also disturbed, then the fruits are subject to cracking.
