Carpal blow - such an unusual name for a tomato variety is at least suggestive. However, thoughts alone are not enough - complete and objective information is needed. And it's worth starting traditionally with a description of the origin of this culture.

Breeding history

The plant was created at the breeding facilities of Semko-Junior LLC. The chief curator of the project was Yu. B. Alekseev. Official permission to grow in private gardens was granted in 2017.

Description of the variety

The wrist stroke is an indeterminate hybrid. Declared its suitability for growing in the open field. The official description also insists on the possibility of using this tomato in conventional and film-covered greenhouses. The bushes develop relatively compactly in breadth, but can reach a height of 2 m. There are relatively few leaves on them.

The main qualities of the fruit

Unripe Brushstroke berries will have a normal green color. As they mature, however, they will turn red. The mass of a single specimen varies from 130 to 150 g. These tomatoes are distinguished by their rounded shape.

6 or 7 tomatoes develop in one cluster. Their surface has a glossy sheen. These berries will form from simple inflorescences. The first fruit is over 9-11 leaves. Further tomatoes are formed every 3 leaves; the stalks will be articulated, and the keeping quality of the crop is 20-30 days.

Taste characteristics

Tomato berries are juicy. Wateriness is not typical for them. There is no sour note. It must be remembered that the marketability of berries lasts no more than 1 month. The crop can be used in salads, for obtaining tomato paste and other preparations.

Ripening and fruiting

Carpal blow is one of the earliest tomatoes. The crop will ripen in 95-105 days. The situation can change only in case of non-standard weather.

Yield

The declared ability to produce up to 27 kg of berries per 1 m2. This is not just a good, but an excellent result. However, it can be achieved only with impeccable agricultural technology.

The timing of planting seedlings and planting in the ground

You can sow seeds in seedling containers in mid-March. Transplantation under the film is carried out in mid-May. Readiness for planting in open ground is usually achieved in the first half of June.

Growing tomato seedlings is an extremely important process, because it largely depends on whether the gardener can harvest at all. All aspects must be taken into account, from seedbed preparation to planting in the ground.

Landing scheme

Usually, the wrist blow should be seated on the 700x400 mm system. Planting involves the use of 2.5-3 bushes per 1 sq. m. There is no point in inventing any other location systems.

Planting a tomato is a very important and painstaking business. In order to get a good harvest of tomatoes, you need to competently approach the issue of planting. When planting a tomato in the ground, it is necessary to take into account many factors - correctly determine the timing, prepare the soil, correctly calculate the distance between plants, take into account the rules of crop rotation.

Growing and care

The wrist blow must be tied up and shaped. It will also be impossible to do without eliminating the stepsons. Fruit cracking is practically impossible. The bronzing of the tomato and the yellow curling of the leaves also have little effect on such tomatoes. There is also little need to protect the tomato from tobacco mosaic and fusarium wilting.

However, insured farmers benefit significantly in the long run. The stems are formed into 1 or 2 stems. At the preparation stage, seedling cultivation is strongly recommended. The seeds are buried 1-2 cm in the soil. It is preferable to use separate tanks for each plant, as well as maintain a temperature of at least +21 degrees.

Traditionally, seedlings are dived when 2 true leaves appear. Only room temperature water is used for irrigation. In order for the seedlings to grow successfully, it will be necessary to provide additional lighting - normally, light should fall on the tomato for at least 16 hours per day. Before planting in open ground or a greenhouse, thorough hardening is necessary. Planting should be watered more regularly.

Removing weeds is also very important. Loosening and feeding are carried out according to the usual schedule for tomatoes. It is recommended to support the brushes of such a tomato with supports. The best result when growing it gives the use of tall greenhouses. Otherwise, this culture has no peculiarities.

Watering tomatoes is not difficult. After planting, the plant is watered at such intervals that the soil remains moist. In dry weather, when it does not rain for a long time, watering can be carried out every day, but usually the beds with tomatoes are irrigated 2-3 times a week.
The methods of tying tomato bushes can vary significantly, depending on the availability of available material, the method of fixation, and also the variety. In general, it is recommended to adhere to the following scheme: first, the central stems are grabbed, and then, as the fruits ripen, the lateral branches.
One of the important conditions for tomato agricultural technology is the correct formation of the bush. The formation of tomato bushes means performing the following steps: pinching, pinching, trimming the leaves, normalizing the ovaries.

A plant needs different micronutrients at each stage of growth. All fertilizers can be divided into two groups: mineral and organic. Folk remedies are often used: iodine, yeast, bird droppings, eggshells.

It is important to observe the rate and period of feeding. This also applies to folk remedies and organic fertilizers.

Treatment and prevention of diseases and pests
When growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, diseases often occur due to a violation of the temperature regime and excessive humidity. The most common diseases are fungal (late blight, cladosporium, rot).
The fight against diseases and pests of tomatoes in open areas can be quite difficult. This is because nightshades are exposed to a wide variety of pathogens and insect pests.
