One of the most favorite vegetables has been and remains a tomato. It is appreciated for its unusual pronounced taste, unpretentious cultivation, the possibility of widespread cultivation, an endless variety of varieties and hybrids, collections that are renewed annually. In addition, the fruits of this amazing plant are extremely useful. One of the universal hybrids is Bogata Khata, synonymous with Bogata Khata F1, a determinant plant grown in open ground, greenhouses and pots. The hybrid is intended for fresh consumption, in salads and for canning (juices, sauces, marinades).

Description of the variety

The authorship in the breeding of a semi-dwarf hybrid variety belongs to N. V. Nastenko, V. G. Kachainik, M. N. Gulkin from the company LLC Agrofirma Aelita. The standard high-yielding hybrid has a compact size - a short bush grows only 35-45 cm. The plant is unbranched, does not need pinching. Strong stems can withstand several clusters with three or five fruits. The bush is covered with large dark green leaves.

The main qualities of the fruit

The main feature of the hybrid is its dwarfism, as well as the ability to bear fruit even in indoor conditions; it can be grown on a windowsill. In addition, the hybrid is characterized as:

  • ultra early;

  • unbranched;

  • strong and firm, with intermediate inflorescence and strong articulated peduncle, stem;

  • resistant to diseases, giving a good harvest and rather large transportable fruits for such a short man.

The unripe fruits of the Bogata Khata tomato are light green; at the stage of technical ripeness they take on a bright red carmine color. Rounded, slightly ribbed tomatoes weigh 110–120 grams.

Taste characteristics

Juicy dense pulp of a tomato has a sweet dessert taste and a pronounced aroma.

Ripening and fruiting

The hybrid variety belongs to ultra-early tomatoes, its ripening period is 95-105 days, harvesting begins in July-August.

Yield

The rich hut is distinguished by excellent fruiting and high yield of the crop - up to 7.5-8.0 kilograms per square meter, up to 1.6 kg per bush.

The timing of planting seedlings and planting in the ground

Sowing for seedlings is carried out in the second decade of March; they are planted in open ground from May 15 to June 5.

Growing tomato seedlings is an extremely important process, because it largely depends on whether the gardener will be able to harvest at all. All aspects must be taken into account, from seedbed preparation to planting in the ground.

Landing scheme

When planting plants, the distance between the bushes is 50x40 cm, there are 4 to 5 roots per 1 square meter.

Planting a tomato is a very important and painstaking business. In order to get a good harvest of tomatoes, you need to competently approach the issue of planting.When planting a tomato in the ground, it is necessary to take into account many factors - correctly determine the timing, prepare the soil, correctly calculate the distance between plants, take into account the rules of crop rotation.

Growing and care

To obtain a stable harvest, especially in areas of risky farming, tomato is grown through seedlings, seeds are sown in special containers, and then the matured plants are planted in open ground. Before sowing, the seeds are treated with special preparations with stimulants - "Epin-Extra", "Zircon", "Oberig", HB-101. The seeds are also soaked in a solution of potassium permanganate 1: 100.

  • The processed seeds are planted in glasses, boxes, peat tablets. Sprouted plants are grown indoors, waiting for the return frost season to end. If you choose which container is better for growing seedlings, then cups are always preferable. The plant grown in this way has a closed root system and easily transfers planting into the ground.

  • Shortly before planting in open ground, the grown seedlings are hardened and accustomed to the sun's rays.

The approximate timing of planting seedlings in the garden is 80-90 days from the date of sowing the seeds. The plot is chosen sunny, protected from drafts. Excellent predecessors are garlic and onions, cabbage and legumes, but after potatoes, eggplants, peppers, it is not recommended to plant tomatoes. The size of the holes is about 20 cm, but, as a rule, they are dug out on the bayonet of a shovel - this is quite enough. The plant is planted in a soil prepared and enriched with organic matter and mineral fertilizers, covered with earth and spilled with warm water. For the first week, it is better to shade young plantings from scorching rays. Further care consists in timely watering, loosening, dressing, preventive treatments. The rich hut does not need pinching, but it is possible to tie the trunks to the pegs, otherwise they may not withstand the weight of the pouring fruits. Dense foliage should be torn off during ripening to provide fresh air and sunlight to the tomatoes.

The frequency of watering depends on the surrounding conditions - during the dry season, the plants are watered daily until they grow fruit. With mass fruiting, watering is stopped. In a rainy summer, plants are moistened as needed - waterlogging threatens to crack. It must be remembered that water must be poured at the root, avoiding contact with the leaves, if the event is held during the day. Such measures will protect plantings from sunburn.

Watering tomatoes is not difficult. After planting, the plant is watered at such intervals that the soil remains moist. In dry weather, when there is no rain for a long time, watering can be carried out every day, but usually the beds with tomatoes are irrigated 2-3 times a week.
The methods of tying tomato bushes can vary significantly, depending on the availability of available material, the method of fixation, and also the variety. In general, it is recommended to adhere to the following scheme: first, the central stems are grabbed, and then, as the fruits ripen, the lateral branches.
One of the important conditions for tomato agricultural technology is the correct formation of the bush. The formation of tomato bushes means performing the following steps: pinching, pinching, trimming the leaves, normalizing the ovaries.

A plant needs different micronutrients at each stage of growth. All fertilizers can be divided into two groups: mineral and organic. Folk remedies are often used: iodine, yeast, bird droppings, eggshells.

It is important to observe the rate and period of feeding. This also applies to folk remedies and organic fertilizers.

Disease and pest resistance

One of the positive qualities, experts and gardeners note the good resistance of the hybrid to most tomato ailments, such as cracking, fusarium. However, Bogata Khata can be affected by dry spotting and cracking with severe waterlogging. In order to avoid such problems, it is necessary to periodically carry out preventive treatments with fungicides and antifungal drugs. To prevent cracking, it is necessary to monitor the level of soil moisture.

Treatment and prevention of diseases and pests
When growing tomatoes in a greenhouse, diseases often occur due to a violation of the temperature regime and excessive humidity. The most common diseases are fungal (late blight, cladosporium, rot).
The fight against diseases and pests of tomatoes in open areas can be quite difficult. This is because nightshades are exposed to a wide variety of pathogens and insect pests.

Growing regions

Bogata khata is adapted to the northern, northwestern, central regions, the Volga-Vyatka region, and it is also grown by the Central Black Earth Region, the North Caucasian, Middle Volga, Lower Volga, Ural, West Siberian, East Siberian, Far Eastern regions.
