The swing can be made of metal, plastic and wood. Each material is good in its own way, but it is wood that is environmentally friendly, pleasant to the touch, beautiful, capable of harmoniously integrating into the surrounding garden environment. There are many requirements for choosing a place on a personal plot.

• L-shaped the frame is more reliable. It consists of two paired supports, connected by their ends in the form of the letter L. Between the paired supports, a crossbar is laid on which the swing is attached. Such supports can still become a small ladder or slide.
• X-shaped the frame is similar to the previous one, only the upper ends of the supports are not connected, but slightly crossed. The design allows you to lay the crossbar between two tops of the logs, and, if desired, put one more additional support on each side.
• A-shaped the frame has a small crossbar between the supports, which makes them look like the letter A. Such a frame is very reliable, it allows you to hold a swing for adults or family multi-seat.

For children over ten years old, you can limit yourself to the simplest option in the form of a wooden rectangle or oval. It is important that the end of the seat is gently rounded. For smaller children, you should make a compact chair with a backrest and handrails, with a strap in front and an emphasis between the legs. Family swings can be in the form of a long, well-crafted board, or as a bench with a backrest and handrails.

Installation should begin with marking on the ground. Next, you need to dig holes and insert supports into them. Not only the U-shaped frame can be concreted, any support with concrete will become more reliable, especially if the swing is designed for the weight of an adult. Fasteners (chains, ropes, ropes) are selected according to the weight of the child. They are connected to the seat and then hung from the bar. Ballast is carefully leveled and distortions are removed.

There are two types of awnings: directly above the swing and more voluminous - above the playground. The canopy over the swing is attached with an upper crossbar, onto which a frame made of timber is built up and sewn up with boards or plywood. You can use polycarbonate or tarpaulin. A child seat should be comfortable and safe: wide, deep, with a high backrest and handrails, for babies - with a front protective bar. The height between the ground and the seat is approximately eighty centimeters. The supports are deeply and firmly dug into the ground. The area under the swing should not be concreted or laid out with paving slabs; it is better to plant grass or lay it with rubber outdoor slabs intended for sports fields. Passionate about safety, one must not forget about aesthetics. The swing can be painted or colored. Decorate the area around them with flower beds, set a table, benches, and a sandbox at a distance. It will turn out to be a beautiful and favorite area for children to play.
