White cabbage variety Slava 1305 is one of the oldest and most popular among summer residents in Russia. The variety was included in the State Register in 1940. The selection was carried out by specialists of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution "Federal Scientific Center for Vegetable Growing". The variety was obtained by E.M. Popova at the Gribovskaya selection experimental station. The best foreign varieties of white cabbage were used for breeding.

A multipurpose variety intended for outdoor cultivation. Differs in good transportability, but not suitable for long-term storage. Heads of cabbage do not lose their properties up to 60 days. The litter is resistant to fork cracking, not prone to intense flowering. There is a light waxy coating on the surface. Cabbage is resistant to moisture shortages and can be grown in arid regions.

Slava 1305 forms a raised rosette of leaves 67–103 cm in diameter with medium-sized plates. The outer stump of this cabbage is short, the inner one is of medium length. The leaves are rounded, finely wrinkled, with weakly expressed veins, with a strongly wavy edge. Painted in green and grayish shades.

Heads of cabbage are round-flat or round in shape, weighing 3-5 kg. Sizes range from medium to large, on the outside the fork is pale green on the outside, white on the inside. The head of cabbage has an average density.

The main method of growing this variety of cabbage is seedling. Seeds are sown on April 1-10, and transferred to open ground on May 15-25. The optimal arrangement of plants on a garden bed is 60 × 40 cm. The seeds are pre-prepared, soaked in potassium humate, and hardened in the refrigerator. It is better to plant seedlings in individual containers immediately, since the root system of the plant does not tolerate this procedure well.

Cabbage seedlings need coolness and an abundance of light for normal development. Before emergence, the soil is sprayed with a spray bottle, then watered along the edge of the pot or container at intervals of 5-6 days. Watering plants at the stage of head formation should be regular, with an interval of about 7-10 days. In extreme heat, use a hose with a sprinkler. The rest of the time, a watering can will suffice. For 1 m 2, about 2 buckets of water are spent. Since the beginning of September, Slava 1305 cabbage has not been watered.

Top dressing is applied three times per season, immediately after planting the seedlings, a mullein solution is given in a weak concentration of 2 liters per plant. Then fertilizers are applied already at the stage of formation of heads of cabbage twice with an interval of 14 days. The composition is diversified by adding wood ash to the slurry. This variety responds well to herbal infusions and iodization.

Glory 1305 grows well on non-chernozem soils, poorly saturated with humus. Does not need abundant fertilization. But the soil is better suited loose, with the addition of sand and wood ash. The optimum acidity is neutral.
