In order to have tasty and healthy cucumbers on the table right from the garden, you need to choose the right cucumber variety for growing, which, with standard care, will give high yields. These are the characteristics that the hybrid Maryina Roshcha, domestic selection, possesses.

Breeding history

Early culture Maryina Roshcha is a bright representative of the Russian selection, bred in the agricultural company "Manul". The authors of the hybrid are scientists: T. I. Krylova, E. N. Orekhova, A. V. Borisov. He joined the ranks of the State Register of approved hybrid vehicles in 2003. You can grow a vegetable crop in a garden bed, under a temporary shelter, in different greenhouses. Cucumbers are zoned in seven regions - from Central Black Earth to North.

Description of the variety

Maryina Roshcha is a medium-sized bush of an indeterminate type of development. The plant has medium climbing, good thickening with bright green leaves, moderate branching and a developed root system. A characteristic feature of the culture is a powerful stem, which grows up to 1.8-2.2 meters in height, requiring reliable support and a garter, as well as the rapid growth of lateral shoots.

During flowering, large yellow female-type flowers are formed on the bushes. In each node, 3-4 flowers are formed, and practically no barren flowers are observed. On a healthy bush, 11-12 neat cucumbers ripen at the same time. The culture does not need pollination.

Characteristics of the appearance of plants and zelents

The variety is known for its fruits with high commercial qualities. On average, the mass of one ripe green leaf is 100-110 grams, up to 12 cm long. The shape of the fruit is standard - oval or elongated-oval. Zelens ripen leveled.

Cucumbers have a beautiful emerald green cover, diluted with white, shortened stripes. The peel of vegetables is strong and thickened, covered with large tubercles, prickly thorns and barely noticeable ribs.

The harvested crop easily transfers transportation, and can also be stored for a long time in a cool place - up to 2.5-3 months.

Purpose and taste of fruits

Maryina Roshcha cucumbers are remembered for their excellent taste. The pulp of the vegetable is fleshy, tender, of medium density, juicy and crunchy, in which there is no wateriness, bitterness and emptiness. Cucumbers have a pleasant taste - with a slight sweetness and a pronounced refreshing aroma.

The harvested crop is suitable for fresh eating, for canning, pickling and pickling. In addition, cucumbers are good for salads and vegetable cuts.

Maturation

This species belongs to the class of early maturing. From germination to the appearance of cucumbers on the bushes, 39-42 days pass. Germination of sprouts and ripening of fruits are friendly and fast.

Yield

Taking care of cucumber bushes, you can collect up to 10-13 kg of crispy greens per 1 m2 of plantings.

Landing scheme

It is recommended to plant 3 bushes per 1 m2 if it is a greenhouse, and 4 plants in a garden bed. The correct layout for planting is 60x15 cm.

Growing and care

The culture is grown mainly by the seedling method.Bushes are planted in the greenhouse in the last decade of April, and in the garden in mid-May, since the temperature should stabilize and the soil should warm up.

The agricultural technology of a vegetable consists of the following procedures - watering with warm water, fertilizing twice a month, plowing and weeding the soil, forming and tying a bush, removing side shoots, preventing diseases and pest attacks. In greenhouses, you need to remember about frequent ventilation.

Soil requirements

The culture is comfortable to grow in loose, even airy loamy and sandy loam soils, which have good air / moisture permeability, neutral acidity and sufficient fertility.

In order to collect strong, tasty and beautiful cucumbers on your site, you need to make top dressing. Lack of nutrients can negatively affect the appearance of the plant and significantly reduce the yield. Fertilize cucumbers with organic fertilizers in combination with mineral fertilizers. With the right balance of these components and adherence to the fertilizing schedule, the cucumber yield will be maximum.

Required climatic conditions

Maryina Roshcha is a culture that is not afraid of shade, sudden temperature drops, temperature drops to + 3-5 degrees, but the plant is susceptible to moisture stagnation, boggy and drafts. It is better to plant cucumbers in the sunny part of the garden, where there is a lot of light, heat, good air circulation.

Disease and pest resistance

The plant is resistant to many diseases due to its high immunity. Cucumbers are resistant to cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, brown olive spot and downy mildew. In addition, the culture has a tolerance to root rot.

Despite their popularity, cucumbers are often attacked by diseases and pests. From them, cucumber plantings often die before the start of fruiting. In order to prevent this from happening, it is necessary to try to prevent ailments or get rid of them at the very beginning, having studied in detail their causes of occurrence, signs and methods of treatment.
