Fermer is a popular agricultural machinery manufacturer. Products of this brand are of good quality and reasonable price.

Today Fermer motor cultivators are considered one of the most demanded in many countries.

Characteristic

Fermer mini tractors are characterized by their compact size, but at the same time they have high productivity. The purpose of the machines is to cultivate soil on small plots of land. With their help, it is also possible to carry out the processing of vegetation, for example, weeding, loosening and hilling.

To make the performance of functions simple and comfortable, the units are equipped with powerful motors, gasoline and diesel engines, so they do not need electricity when using them.

The advantages of the devices include the following characteristics:

  • small size, thanks to which the machines can work in hard-to-reach places of the site, for example, in the corners of the garden, near the walls, in greenhouses and greenhouses;
  • environmental Safety;
  • the possibility of using attachments;
  • profitability;
  • long service life.

The advantages of this technique include the presence of a reverse gear, which allows the mini-unit to work in a hard-to-reach place where a U-turn is impossible. Of the disadvantages of Fermer units, one can single out the fact that they do not have a differential transmission to the wheels.

The cultivators are efficient, comfortable and productive, as they are equipped with powerful engines from 6.5 to 9 horsepower. The car starts up very quickly.

The following elements can be distinguished in the design of equipment:

  • steering column, which can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally;
  • handle that folds easily, so the cultivators are very compact;
  • a special wheel that facilitates movement on the border of the site;
  • cutters that can be replaced and at the same time make the processing width larger;
  • additional row knife;
  • a metal lug that assists in working with heavy soils.

Over the period of the brand's existence, a huge range of Fermer cultivators has been released. The most popular models include two options.

Fermer 902 found its application for loosening and soil treatment. The car is equipped with a 9 horsepower petrol engine, which is characterized by a special power. The technical features allow the use of a large number of attachments. The depth of immersion in the ground is up to 30 centimeters.

The Fermer 902 is a unit with 2 forward and 1 reverse speeds and is preferred for its good maneuverability.

User manual

In order for the use of the cultivator to be not only successful, but also durable, it is necessary to correctly assemble and adjust the unit. Fermer must not be used on wet soils or on slopes above 10 degrees.

Before you start working with a motor-cultivator, you must carry out the following activities:

  • tightening of bolt ties and attaching protective shields;
  • installation work on the coulter and holder;
  • assembly and installation of cutters;
  • refueling the car with high-quality fuel;
  • filling with oil and replacing it every 100 hours.

After all the main systems of the cultivator have been checked, you can start operating it. When using equipment, do not forget about monitoring the condition of the gearbox, since this is an important structural element.

There are situations when the cultivator smokes, while emitting blue smoke. The reason for this situation may be minor wear or the occurrence of oil scraper rings. If an oil leak is detected from the gearbox, it is necessary to change the oil seal, to do this, follow these steps:

  • remove the cutters from the shaft, clean them;
  • unscrew the bolts on the cover, remove the old oil seal;
  • clean the location of the removed part;
  • Cover the edges of the gland with sealant, mount the part and put the cover on by tightening it.

If the cultivator does not start, there is no spark in it, then a possible reason for this may be a clogged hole in the gas tank, debris getting into the feed channels, a broken carburetor or clogged air.

In order to perform versatile tasks using Fermer equipment, it is worth using attachments in the form of plows, hillers, potato diggers, and cargo carts. These mini-aggregates are real helpers for every owner, they effortlessly allow you to care for the territory and process the soil.
