Rosalind grape is a plant with high consumer characteristics. But, like all crops of this species, the variety requires careful handling. Therefore, all gardeners will behave quite reasonably, who will study even small nuances and subtleties in advance.

The work on the variety was carried out jointly by V. U. Kapelyushny and I. N. Voronyuk. To obtain a hybrid, Fantasy and Gift to Zaporozhye were crossed. The choice of already well-proven varieties as a base turned out to be fully justified. Even the fact that large breeding establishments were not involved in the work can hardly be considered a disadvantage. The year of hatching has not been established.

Rosalind is one of the relatively new hybrids. The plant is stable and pleases gardeners with its predictability. The developers were able to achieve excellent resistance to fungi. The culture fully justifies its fabulous, romantic name. And this is manifested not only in the consumer parameters of the fruit, but also in the appearance of berry bushes.

Rosalind is a very early variety. Under normal conditions, it is able to mature in 100-110 days after the formation of kidneys (according to other sources, it takes 117-130 days). Therefore, it will be possible to feast on grapes by the end of summer - early autumn. The actual weather has a big impact. Even the methods of modern agricultural technology do not always compensate for its impact.

The grapes in clusters are grouped according to the medium-dry principle. The mass of such a group can range from 700 g to 1.5 kg. The bunches are generally cone-shaped. Outside, they are even, and the berries are distributed by themselves neatly. The maximum weight is only achievable with meticulous care.

The skin of Rosalind's grapes turns yellow-pink. Other details are as follows:

• fruit weight from 12 to 18 g;

• dimensions up to 3.2x2.6 cm;

• Smooth surface;

• predominantly uniform, elongated shape.

According to tasters, the fruits have varietal taste. It is quite harmonious. The pulp is fleshy, crunches when eating. Sugar in berries up to 1/5. At the same time, the acidity is low, and therefore the overall impression is pleasant.

The variety is considered one of the last examples of yield. The collection per season can reach 15 kg per bush. Importantly, this is happening in a stable manner. Problems can only be created by violation of agrotechnical standards. You can wait for the first grapes for 2-3 years after planting.

Rosalind has a strong, well-developed root system. It provides excellent rooting in any area.The vine grows vigorously and vigorously. She is able to wrap around fences and other supports, creating a beautiful visual effect. Berries can be left on the bush for a long time without losing their beneficial qualities.

There are no special nuances in planting this particular variety. The preferred location is sunny, sheltered from the wind. As for the type of soil, only clearly marshy areas will not work. The geometry of the pit, as well as planting in spring or autumn, is left to the discretion of gardeners. Immediately after planting, the seedling is spilled with 20 liters of water, sometimes it is tied to a stick.

Rosalind is a bisexual grape variety. With normal maintenance, additional pollination is not required for the culture. The exception is special breeding and varietal work. Flowering usually occurs in June.

Due to active growth, this procedure is required. Long pruning of grapes is allowed. Fruiting vines are cut into 8-10 eyes. There are no other features. The tool must be traditionally disinfected, moving from bush to bush.

Declared resistance to cold at temperatures up to -24 degrees. This means that the winegrowers of the Azov-Black Sea region can practically not worry at all. Cultivation is also possible in more northern areas. But it is already imprudent to do without special protection there.

Phylloxera resistance has not yet been studied. Therefore, you need to be careful. Bordeaux liquid will help fight this pest.

The variety resists infection well:

• oidium;

• gray rot;

• mildew.

The sugar content of the fruits greatly complicates their storage in room conditions. You can save the harvest for any long period only in the refrigerator. True, decent taste will not allow you to do this. Rosalind's processing and canning is quite traditional. Getting wine is still poorly worked out.
