The bushes are formed large, the shoots are powerful and ripen along the entire length. If the grower follows the growing rules, then the variety is well resistant to disease. Fruit crumbling does not occur with a sufficient amount of light, correct pruning.

The plantation yield of this grape is stable.

Ripening period

Galbena Nou is included in the list of early ripening varieties. Delicious berries can be obtained in 113-115 days.

Bunches

Galben Nou bunches have a wide conical shape. They stand out in medium density. Each weighs 480-600 grams.

Berries

Ripe berries may vary in color. Typically, their hue ranges from yellow-green to amber. Sugar in them is 170-230 g / dm³, acidity is 6-8 g / dm³.

Yield

In shoots, the percentage of fertility is 70-85%. According to the table, the fruiting factor is 1.1-1.4.

The choice of planting material
Experienced gardeners recommend that beginners take cuttings and seedlings from those who made them from their vines and are professionally engaged in the production of such material.
You can evaluate the quality by cutting off a small amount of bark. When growing a bush from a cuttings and observing the rules of agricultural technology, survival rate is about 90%, the high quality of the plant is practically guaranteed. It is possible to control the development of grapes at all stages.
Subject to the rules of agricultural technology, survival rate is about 100%. The seedlings must be healthy. Pay attention to the absence of blisters, growths, or other signs of disease.

Growing features

There is no need to go to great lengths to grow Galbena Nou grapes. Everything that's needed:

  • timely watering;

  • top dressing;

  • weed removal;

  • loosening the soil.

It is very important to mulch the soil around the bushes. For this, you can use sawdust, hay. This technique allows you to retain moisture.

Landing

Compared to other varieties, this one is not much different during planting. It is advisable to choose a place that is sunny, without drafts. Groundwater should be 2 meters from the soil surface.

The ideal option is the southern wall of a house or other building.The gardener should not forget about the size that the bush reaches. Galben Nou should be at a distance of 2.5-3 meters from buildings and other plantings.

In the south, the variety is planted in autumn and spring. With the onset of warmth, it is better to do this when the soil has already warmed up enough. In autumn, disembarkation is carried out a month before the predicted frost.

If you plan to plant a variety in a region with a long winter, then it is important to avoid return frosts. Summer is enough for the seedling to take root and prepare for the cold weather.

Landing features
In order for the vine to give a signal harvest after 3 years, it is necessary to take into account many factors - from the type of soil on the site to the nearby plants.

Pollination

The flower type is bisexual. Therefore, there is no need for additional pollination.

Pruning

Trimming is done medium or short. With the first option, 3-4 eyes are left, with the second 6-10.

It is important to prune the bush correctly. The procedure is carried out in the fall, when the growing season ends.

Galbena Nou has a special tendency to overload. The gardener is required to ration fruiting.

In the spring, extra brushes must be removed, no more than two of them should remain for the escape. Underloading must also not be allowed, otherwise the yield will decrease significantly. Leave eyes on the bush 35-45.

Pruning is one of the main grape care procedures. Depending on the purpose of pruning and the type of plant, the appropriate type of formation is selected.

Watering

Water the soil around as it dries. With excessive watering, cracking of the berries can be observed.

Mandatory watering is carried out in the spring before the flowers appear, when the berries are poured. And also irrigation must be done in the fall and after harvest.

Irrigation schemes
In order for the berries to be large and juicy, it is necessary to organize full watering and feeding. All standards must be adjusted for weather conditions and the rate of evaporation of the liquid.
With a frequent watering scheme, it is recommended to moisturize once every two weeks (that is, twice a month during flowering and the appearance of berries) so that the earth is saturated 50 cm deep so that the plant does not switch to superficial (dew) roots. This amount can be reduced by mulching the crop with straw.
With a rare irrigation scheme, choosing the age and maturation of the grapes, you can use the standards presented in the table in another article.

Top dressing

Galbena Nou grapes are fed organic. Mineral components are used in spring and autumn. Top dressing is added along with watering. After that, you can sprinkle the soil around with rotted manure.

Frost resistance and the need for shelter

Frost resistance is at the level of - 25 degrees. Shelter is needed. Even if the buds freeze, the bush will quickly recover.

Shelter for the winter is a very important step for the preservation of many grape varieties after wintering.

Diseases and pests

Galbena Nou is a fairly resistant variety to various diseases. So, resistance to mildew 2.5 points, to powdery mildew and gray rot 3.5. Until the bud swelling begins, the grapes are treated with copper sulfate. 10 grams is enough for a bucket of water.

Oxyhom and Paracelsus are suitable for fungus and other diseases.

The second spraying is carried out when the fruits have already set. The last treatment is one month before the grape harvest.

Storage

The grapes are well stored and transported. On the table, he will take pride of place in the fruit basket.
