Adele grape

The Adele grape is a popular variety, approved for use in 2001. During its existence, many gardeners liked it due to its good taste and its versatility.

Table grapes appeared thanks to the well-known breeders A. I. Vaskovsky and P. A. Chebukin. They took him to the VNIIR Far Eastern Experimental Station. This is a European-Amur hybrid obtained by crossing a complex hybrid wild Amur grape variety with Central Asian and North Caucasian varieties.

Most often, you can see the variety in the center and in the south of the Russian Federation, as well as in the Far East.

The Adele grape has many individual qualities by which this variety can be recognized.

Ripening of shoots is at a decent level, the growing season lasts about 115 days. Ripening period - early-middle. In the Primorsky Territory, the crop can be harvested in mid-September.

Beautiful clusters have a cylindrical shape, similar to an oblong cone, and a medium density, which allows them to have an aesthetic, presentation. With proper care of the plant, one bunch can weigh from 300 to 600 g. No peeling is observed.

The fruits have excellent marketable qualities and delight farmers with good transportability.

The characteristic color of ripe fruits is dark blue, sometimes it can be almost black, there is a pruin bloom. The berries are round in shape, small in size (10x10 mm). The skin is quite strong, but easy to chew, the pulp is juicy and sweet. There are seeds inside the fruit. One grape has an average weight of 2.5 g.

Berries are versatile, so they are used not only for fresh consumption and juices, but also for the production of dessert, dry and semi-sweet wines.

The variety gives a consistently high yield. On average, with proper care and good climatic conditions, 101.5-123.3 centners / ha can be harvested from a bush.

Growing the Adel variety is not too difficult, even a beginner can handle it.

It is best to plant seedlings in the spring, when the movement of the juice is activated. In this case, the growth and development of the bush will be good. Grapes are sun-loving crops, so you should choose an area as far south as possible. The place must be protected from wind gusts.

The pit into which the grapes will subsequently be planted must be prepared in advance. It should be 65 cm wide, and at its bottom it is recommended to fill in several buckets of rotted manure, as well as ash, soil and 150-200 g of superphosphate.

Thanks to the flowers of the bisexual type, the plant can pollinate on its own.

There are several nuances of pruning bushes:

• in the summer, it is necessary to cut out the stepsons;

• during the flowering period of the culture, it is worth rationing the brushes, leaving only one for each shoot;

• after hibernation, it is necessary to rid the bush of frozen and damaged vines;

• pruning is done with a sharp and sterile instrument.

Bushes need regular watering. At the same time, it is worth ensuring drainage, because a large amount of moisture can harm the culture.

Adele grapes have high frost resistance and can withstand temperatures down to -30 degrees. This allows you to grow the variety in areas with not too warm climates. It is recommended to cover the bush for the winter, so that the root system does not freeze. It is especially important to follow this advice for gardeners whose crops grow on loam or black soil.

The variety is tolerant to mildew and oidium, weakly affected by wasps and hornets. It should be treated against fungal infections.

During long-term storage, berries are able to increase the sugar content.
