The culture was obtained by the forces of the Pavlovsk Experimental Station of the V.I. N.I. Vavilov. Varieties Minaj Shmyrev and Ojebyn were chosen as parent varieties. The authors were the well-known breeders Volodina, Khotimskaya and Tikhonova. After successful tests, the culture was included in the State Register of the Russian Federation. It happened in 2007.

The bush of the described currant is rather tall, characterized by density, its spreading is medium. As for the shoots, the young are of medium thickness, they are smooth, straight and green, there is a slight pubescence. Already lignified specimens have a brownish-brown tint and a brown top, shine, slightly pubescent. The buds have a pointed tip, they are solitary, painted pinkish or lilac.

The shiny and wrinkled leaves have five lobes. They can be both medium and large in size. The foliage is dark green. Rare pubescence is present, but not everywhere, but only on the main veins of the leaf plates.

The flowers are of medium size, their shape is goblet, and their color is pinkish-crimson. The nearly straight brush is of medium length (4.4 to 6.7 cm). From 5 to 8 berries ripen on it.

Delicacy berries are considered medium-sized (from 0.9 to 1.1 grams), they are round-oval in shape, with a dry separation. The black shiny skin is of medium thickness. There are about 45 seeds in each berry, they can be either medium or small.

The taste of currant Delicacy corresponds to the name. It is sweet, dessert. The aroma is quite delicate, delicate. The assessment of the tasters is high - 4.9 points out of 5 possible.

By composition, the berries include:

• soluble solids - 20.7%;
• the amount of sugars - 11.6%;
• titratable acidity - 2.6%;
• ascorbic acid - 178.1 mg / 100 g.

The delicacy can be attributed to medium early currant varieties. It also differs in its early maturity.

On average, the yield of the variety is noted in the amount of 193.6 c / ha. 2.5-3 kilograms can be removed from one bush.

The 2007 clearance indicates the regions for the use of this crop. These are the Northern, North-Western, Central regions, as well as the Far East.

For planting currants Delicacy, you need to choose a well-lit area. This is necessary to grow a rich harvest with sweet berries.

It is recommended to plant currants along a hedge, as good protection from the wind, especially the northern one, will only benefit the variety. The soil is suitable for light, slightly acidic, loamy or sandy loam. Acidity indicators - 6-6.5 pH.

When planting a currant seedling Delicacy, it is buried in the ground by 5-10 centimeters. The branches of the shrub are cut off after planting, either half or ⅔. One bush of a varietal culture should have 1-2 m2. It is necessary to maintain a distance of 1-1.5 m between two adjacent plants.

When planting varietal currants, both organic matter (horse manure or humus) and mineral compositions are introduced into the planting hole. For example, it can be double superphosphate (70-80 g), potassium sulfate (30-40 g), wood ash (100 g). This amount is enough for the successful growth of the bush for a couple of years. Then the culture is fed according to the standard schedule.

Water the Delicacy currant 2-3 times every 7 days. Each adult bush has a bucket of water 2 times a day (morning and evening). It is especially important to water the crop well at the fruiting stage, that is, in July-August. At the same time, the laying of flower buds is already underway, which will form the next year's harvest.
