Due to the favorable combination of price and quality, the profiled sheet has become widespread. It is often chosen for the construction of fences and sheathing of buildings. Manufacturers even offer patterned material made in different colors and styles. Such a metal coating is appropriate both for the improvement of adjacent territories, and for construction sites, as well as industrial complexes.

Peculiarities

Profiled sheet (the second name used by manufacturers is profiled sheeting) with a pattern is a special type of material with an image applied to it (wood, stone, brick, etc.). It is made specifically for the construction of fences of any height, frame and other buildings, as well as for finishing residential and utility buildings.

Unlike a standard profiled sheet, this type of product copies the appearance of another building material. Thanks to this, its aesthetic qualities are increased.

One of the features of the product that has played an important role in its distribution is its affordable price. Its cost is about 5-6 times lower compared to the price of finishing with traditional building materials. It is beneficial to use a professional sheet when building a fence. The savings lie not only in the cost of the building material, but also in the creation of the foundation. Indeed, for metal sheets, only pillars and logs need to be installed.

And also the use of corrugated board saves time. It is easy and convenient to work with due to its low weight. It is mounted much faster than other common materials such as wood.

Product weight may vary depending on the type of product. The decorative profiled sheet of the C8 brand has become widespread. With a thickness of only 0.5 millimeters, its weight per square meter of area will be less than 5 kilograms.

Due to this characteristic, it practically does not load the foundation, so that the material can be safely chosen for facing dilapidated structures without necessarily strengthening the base.

Another feature is related to the product's resistance to negative environmental influences. He is not afraid of moisture, strong wind and sudden temperature changes. Manufacturers process sheets with a special coating that protects them from mechanical damage and chemical attack.

When working with corrugated board, you do not need to have special professional skills. To complete the installation, it is enough to follow the instructions exactly. You can save money that could have been spent on the services of a construction crew.

Design options

On sale you can find both colored corrugated board and with photo printing imitating such finishing materials as brick, stone or wood.

Under the wood

This option is considered the most common. Modern brands offer a wide range of finishes that imitate different types of wood. Profiled sheets differ in color, saturation, patterns and other characteristics. More than 20 variants have been developed.

At a distance of several meters, such material is practically indistinguishable from natural raw materials.

Products that copy stone

This type of product has found its application in the design of the basement of buildings. Unlike the first option, there are only 4 types of colors, differing in pattern and saturation. Profiled sheeting is very popular, visually copying a wild stone (this product can be marked with the Fine Stone marking). With its help, you can add the most realistic visual effect.

Brick options

The latter option is used less often in comparison with the above options, however, it also found its buyer. The sheets are great for both exterior decoration of premises and for the construction of fences.

Customers are offered a choice of three colors:

  • the classic version is red brick;

  • rustic;

  • light red.

Applications

Unlike standard metal profiles, decorative sheets are not chosen for roofing. It has found its application in the following areas:

  • installation of permanent or temporary fences;

  • wall cladding of residential and other buildings;

  • gate decoration;

  • construction of warehouses and other similar structures;

  • filing and strengthening the overhang.

Note: in addition to the above options, you can find sheets with the original print on sale. For example, tall grass or a birch grove can be depicted on the surface of the corrugated board.

Fencing

Profiled sheeting with a pattern is a practical option for building fences of different heights. When erecting a solid fence, experts recommend choosing sheets for brick or stone. When it comes to sectional fences that rest on pillars, it is recommended to opt for wood-like material. In some cases, the two types of material can be combined. For example, sheets for wood and brick look great together.

Facades and plinths

When cladding walls, a material that imitates wood is most often chosen. It looks presentable and at the same time has the necessary technical characteristics. Given the wide variety of colors, choosing the perfect option for a specific style is not difficult.

Such profiled sheets look like a natural solid wood or log house, while they are completely devoid of the disadvantages of natural wood.

A metal profile is not afraid of fire, dampness, temperature fluctuations, mildew and mildew.

Overhang filing

Professionals advise choosing sheets painted in a dark wood shade for this purpose. This option looks great with other popular materials used for roofing or wall decoration.

Outbuildings

For decorating any frame structures, profiled sheets will be quite appropriate. It is recommended to make a choice in favor of sheets for natural stone or wood, as the imitation of brick looks too catchy.

To make the frame building warmer, the cladding is performed in two layers, between which a special insulation is placed.

Gate or wicket decoration

Building material of this type looks aesthetically pleasing and at the same time has sufficient strength for the manufacture of gates. The product is easy to handle, install and lightweight. When using metal sheets, it is not necessary to lay a solid foundation.

Compared to gates, in the manufacture of which flat steel sheets were used, the wings of swing gates very rarely move under the influence of their own weight. And also due to the light weight, the rollers, which are often equipped with gates and wickets, retain their shape for a long time and slide easily.

Most buyers opt for wood sheets. Such a pattern is considered universal and is perfect for the exterior of the local area. To give the gate a more expressive appearance, the corrugated board is combined with a metal frame. The pattern on the surface of the building material remains for a long time even under the influence of direct sunlight and various vagaries of the weather.

Installation

The decorative profiled sheets are approximately 3 meters high.To increase sound insulation, double canvases are used with an insulating layer installed in advance. Such material can be used to reduce noise levels.

When building a fence, the corrugated board is installed on a columnar foundation. The easiest way to build a fence is to install a solid structure.

The work is carried out according to the following scheme:

  • first you need to mark the land plot;

  • the second step is the laying of the columnar foundation;

  • after the installation of metal supports is carried out;

  • now you need to arrange logs, for this you need profile pipes;

  • profiled sheets can be mounted on the finished frame.

A material that imitates a stone surface looks great with wood, brick or tiles. Welding can be used to securely attach the sheets to the posts. To fix the corrugated board to the logs, self-tapping screws equipped with rubber washers are chosen. Such a fence will reliably protect the area from snow and moisture.

To make the design even and neat, it is recommended to use a level during installation.
