Breeding history

The first generation hybrid is identified by the standard alphanumeric designation F1. The request for registration in the register of domestic breeding achievements was received in the fall of 2018. Two years later, it was approved.

Description of the variety

The peculiarity of the hybrid is the impossibility of obtaining fertile offspring from the seed collected independently. Therefore, you have to buy seeds every year. The hybrid plant is characterized by comparative resistance to a variety of diseases and difficult weather conditions. Another advantage is the early ripening of fruits. Peppers can be removed from bushes in July, and they will be ripe.

Characteristics of the appearance of plants and fruits

The type of bush is medium-sized, semi-spreading. The fruits on the branches are located with the tip down, in a drooping manner. Leaves are slightly wrinkled, medium in size and dark green in color.

The fruits are medium in size and very elongated. Cone-shaped peppers grow up to 30 cm in length and gain in mature form a mass of 110-140 g.

The name of this pepper was given due to its external resemblance to the cap of Santa Claus. Indeed, both in color and in shape, this is the spitting image of the headdress of the protagonist of the New Year. In technical ripeness, the fruits are dark green in color. Landing scheme

Landing is carried out according to the following scheme:

Growing and care
