Big bag sizes

Big bags are actively used in the food and chemical industries. Their demand is due to the convenience of transporting bulk mixes, including sand and cement. The size of the big bags affects the carrying capacity.

Outwardly, such a product is a large bag, in the design of which there are slings.

The slings continue the body of the big bag and are additionally equipped with a strapping made of laminated polypropylene. It is this material that has the necessary abrasion resistance.

As an additional mandatory equipment, hatches or valves are used. They represent a polypropylene sleeve, where the standard is 500 mm long and 350 mm in diameter. Thanks to him, it is more convenient to load mixtures and unload them from a soft container.

Another additional element is the skirt. Without it, the load would wake up, and with it, it remains inside the soft container.

Each additional element has a drawstring. It is made from a sturdy cord, which in turn is sewn onto the assembly.

Depending on where you intend to use the soft container, the fabric can be of different weights. For manufacturing, a material is used whose width varies from 120 to 200 centimeters.

Density for 1 or 2 tons can vary within a radius of 70-200 g / m2.

On the market you can find soft containers of several standard sizes (in cm):

• 60x60x125;
• 75x75x125;
• 75x75x140;
• 75x75x150.

Depending on the size, the carrying capacity of the flexible container also changes.

With dimensions of 75x75x125 cm, the volume of the big bag is 0.7 m3. In fact, this parameter can increase by 15-20%. This is because the fabric stretches when the container is filled with the mixture.
