Zucchini Aral

Aral squash is a popular hybrid with beautiful calibrated fruits. It begins to bear fruit very early, grows well in the greenhouse and in the open field. Differs in versatility of use, long-term storage, high marketability of fruits.

A hybrid of French selection. The originator was Sakata Vegetables Europe S. A. S. It was entered into the Russian state register in 2009.

The hybrid is versatile, vigorous. In terms of fruit size, it belongs to the zucchini category. It has a high development rate. Since its appearance on the market, the Aral Sea has gained popularity in Europe and Asia. The germination rate of hybrid seeds reaches 95%.

Zucchini is characterized by extended fruiting. The ovaries are formed amicably, repeatedly, without additional pollination. Fruits are one-dimensional, without signs of deformation. It is important to collect them regularly, at least once every 3 days. More rare eating leads to a decrease in plant productivity.

Aral zucchini bushes are formed by semi-leafy, semi-open type, with medium-sized leaves. Their plates are moderately dissected, colored green.

The fruits are cylindrical, medium in size, 12-15 cm long and 40-60 mm in diameter. Each weight varies from 0.5 to 0.8 kg. The color of the skin is light green, with rare whitish spots, the surface is shiny. The surface of the fruit is slightly ribbed, the seeds inside are large, elliptical in shape.

The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption, for baking and preserving. Delicious salads, squash caviar are obtained from the product. The delicate pulp is not bitter, saturated with juice, exudes a pleasant aroma. Overall, the zucchini tastes excellent. They are suitable for storage, retain their useful properties and appearance for up to 4 months, but only when removed from a bush at the stage of biological ripeness.

The hybrid is early maturing. It takes about 30 days from seed germination to harvest.

Aral zucchini is a high-yielding one. Average collection rates reach 418-1008 c / ha. Up to 10 kg of yield is obtained from 1 m2.

The hybrid is suitable for growing in a number of regions of Russia. The Aral marrow is successfully cultivated in the Central Black Earth Region, in the North-West, North Caucasus, in the Volgo-Vyatka and Central regions of the Russian Federation.

The hybrid is disembarked in a sunny place, lit most of the day. The best period is from May to June, zucchini are placed in the open field according to a 70 × 100 cm scheme, since the bush will grow intensively. With the seedling method, seedlings that have reached the age of 30 days are transferred to greenhouses.

Watering is organized every 10 days. It is important to supply moisture under the root or into the grooves at a distance of 200-300 mm from the stem. Watering is done plentiful, at least 1 bucket of warm, settled water under an adult bush.

Loosening of the soil is carried out regularly. This hybrid loves well aerated soil. It can be mulched with peat or straw. With the appearance of 5 leaves, hilling is carried out. With intensive growth of leaves, their bottom row is cut off so as not to create an extra shadow.

The feeding of the growing zucchini in this hybrid is carried out regularly. At the beginning of flowering, as well as with the formation of the first ovaries. A solution of bird droppings or manure is poured under the root of each bush. You can replace organic matter with mineral complex fertilizer.

The soil in the beds for the Aral zucchini is chosen light, rich in humus. You can add organic matter, mineral fertilizers to the soil in advance. Clay soils are lightened with sand, peat, making their composition more comfortable for zucchini.

The hybrid is resistant to weather changes, but quite thermophilic. In the northern and western regions, it needs a greenhouse shelter.

The Aral Sea is resistant to major diseases. It is extremely rarely affected by yellow zucchini mosaic, root rot.

The opinions of summer residents about this French hybrid can be called quite benevolent. They are quite satisfied with the Aral squash, indicating early maturity and rapid growth of shoots, abundant fruiting. Amateur vegetable growers are advised to bake young fruits in sour cream, use them to make stews. Compact light green fruits are well bought, they are successfully grown for sale.

The advantages of the hybrid, according to summer residents, include the very structure of the bush, which facilitates harvesting. Experienced vegetable growers advise to shoot the Aral zucchini at the stage of milky ripeness, when its skin is still very thin. Overgrown fruits become coarse.

This hybrid has few downsides. In a cloudy summer, the yield decreases slightly. Bushes grow poorly when planted in the shade. Not everyone likes large seeds either, since a significant part of the pulp is lost during processing.
