The Apple-tree Detskoe manifests itself in a very "grown-up" manner. But that is why it is necessary to get acquainted with this plant more closely. There are many circumstances in dealing with it that must be taken into account.

The variety was developed at the South Ural NIIPOK. MA Mazunin took over the project management. The plant appeared relatively recently. The hybrid is obtained on the basis of Ural and Welsey. Early maturity is an attractive feature. You can eat apples as early as 3-5 years after planting. The growth of the tree is relatively slow. It should be emphasized that the scab resistance is low. But there are also expressive advantages:

One adult apple tree can grow up to 70 kg of fruit without any problems. Under favorable conditions and diligent care, this figure reaches 90 kg.

Important: the culture has no decorative value, therefore it is used exclusively for horticultural purposes. Flowers form in mid-late May, depending on actual weather conditions and other nuances. Apples can be harvested from mid-September to early October (if the weather is good).

The seedling is not fed in the first year. Organic and mineral supplements are needed in the second year of development. Potassium and superphosphate are used in autumn. They should be supplemented with organic ingredients. In May and June, it is time for nitrogen replenishment.

The baby tolerates the effects of low temperatures well. If during wintering they do not drop to more than -35 degrees, a special shelter will not be needed at all. But water-charging irrigation is still necessary. In areas with very harsh winters, shelter is indispensable. The necessary protection is provided by sheaves of straw or mats made of dry grass.

This variety of apple trees resists scab infestation quite well. Still, it's good to use the Rubigan to keep it from getting started. The danger for him, however, is the codling moth. It is destroyed by "Decis", "Agravertine". The fight should also go with the flower beetle, which is not difficult to suppress with the help of "Karbofos".

Even with long-term cultivation, the Detskoe apple tree does not cause any complaints. Both the trees themselves and the grafts are not inclined to freeze.Care is necessary and has positive results. It should be noted that apples are perceived very differently depending on personal taste.
