Candy washing machines have earned a good reputation; there are models in the assortment that differ in size, functionality and appearance. Depending on this, instructions for use are drawn up. It is not difficult to understand them, as the developers have tried to make everything as simple and convenient as possible.

Loading detergents

The quality of the wash depends largely on the detergents used. Since there are a huge number of them, before use, you should disassemble what and how to add. To do this, Candy washing machines have special containers (they are also called trays or bins), which are located in the upper left part. Depending on the model, they can have from 2 to 4 compartments. Such an internal division is necessary for the supply of funds exactly at the moment when it is needed, and not all at once.

The Aquamatic has only two compartments:

  • it is proposed to pour powder into the left one;
  • on the right - special additives in liquid form.

If the detergent does not wash out well, you can use a special container and run it along with the laundry in the drum (sold with household chemicals). It is not recommended to simply pour powders into the drum, as they are unevenly distributed, remain in the fibers after rinsing, and in high concentration can affect the fabric - change its structure or color.

The upgraded models of the Activa Smart type have more compartments:

  • for prewash;
  • for basic programs (if the product is liquid, you must use the bath that comes with the machine);
  • for bleach;
  • for special additives (softening, bluing, finishing, etc.), only liquids, gels and solutions are poured into the last two compartments.

Anyway The detergent container must be washed periodically, otherwise mold or mildew may develop in it, which can also cause an unpleasant odor. It is usually quite easy to remove completely, but in some cases it may take effort and skill. All parts must be washed with a soda solution and rinsed with running water.

As a preventive measure, after each wash, it is better to leave the container open until completely dry and remove the remaining powder.

How to choose a mode?

The set of modes for washing linen in all machines is approximately the same. For a simpler technique, an optimal set of the most basic ones has been compiled, in more advanced models the choice is slightly wider. All information about the capabilities of the washing machine is contained in the instructions, but, as a rule, the control panels are arranged in such a way that they can be understood intuitively.

The desired program is set by turning the switch, after which the indicator light comes on or information appears on the display. In some models, it is necessary to additionally set the temperature before this. Usually the modes are focused on a certain type of material:

  • durable fabrics - provide for intensive washing, high-quality rinsing, spinning at high speed (including intermediate);
  • mixed - its cycle is shorter;
  • delicate (e.g. wool) - less intensive wash without intermediate spinning, with anti-crease protection.

In Candy Activa Smart, the program time can be shortened by pressing the button corresponding to the Super Speed function. Additional modes include "Handwash" at low temperatures and with a slow, gentle spin. Eco wash mode suitable for different types of fabrics. "Extra Fast Program", "Special Rinse" and "Intensive Spin" speak for themselves... At the same time, a smart washing machine itself controls the volume of water and rhythm, adjusting these parameters to the material of the linen and its weight.

If you have any concerns during the wash process, some parameters (for example, the number of revolutions during spinning) can be changed. To do this, you need to click on "Start", then make changes and click the above button again.

The selected program can be canceled altogether by pressing the start key and moving the device to the off position. After a factory reset, you can set a new mode and run it.

How to load laundry?

Before starting, the laundry intended for washing must be sorted not only by color, but also by the type of fabric, since most of them have their own program. At the same time, it is not always possible to load the washing machine to the maximum. Even if it is designed for 5 kg, items made of delicate and woolen fabrics can be loaded no more than 1-2 kg. Smart models weigh the laundry themselves and report the overweight. Otherwise, the approximate weight can be determined from tables or, as they say, "by eye". And we are talking about dry clothes, since wet ones weigh much more.

After loading, there should be enough room in the drum for the machine to work efficiently and things to stretch well and not look too wrinkled. In the case of cotton, no more than two-thirds should be filled, if we are talking about more capricious material, then only half.

There are a few things to keep in mind when sorting your laundry:

  • study the information on the label of the thing, if any (in addition to the composition, it is necessary to clarify whether it is permissible to wash in the machine, the temperature of the water, the possibility of spinning);
  • check pockets and cavities for foreign objects;
  • remove removable parts;
  • sew up gaps, sew on buttons that do not hold well, fasten zippers;
  • turn clothes and bedding inside out;
  • pre-treat heavy dirt and difficult stains.

At boot time things must be laid not chaotically, but unfolded. Heavy garments that are twisted into a ball can upset the balance and place too much stress on the drum. And this, in turn, will increase vibration, noise and reduce the service life of the equipment. Small items are best folded into a mesh bag. In order to save energy and detergents, do not run the machine with a partial load. Lightly soiled laundry can be washed with a shorter program and at a lower temperature.

Forgotten things can be added to Candy Activa Smart and the like after launch. To do this, press the start button, wait for the door to unlock and add what is needed. In the same way, you can take out those things that were in the drum by mistake and were noticed in time.

After all the manipulations, the wash will start from the moment from which it was interrupted. For obvious reasons, it is best to do this at the very beginning.

Start and end of washing

Before starting new equipment for the first time after purchase and delivery, you must make sure that it is correctly installed. These are transit bolts and protective elements that must be removed. In addition, it is necessary to check the connection of the water supply and drain hoses, whether the plug of the machine is plugged into the outlet. Although these actions seem obvious, practice shows that they are sometimes forgotten. To keep the newly acquired Candy from making a lot of noise and swaying during spinning, it is important to align the legs so that it stands level. In addition, before starting operation, you should familiarize yourself with the safety rules.

Preparing your washing machine before using it for the first time consists of cleaning it.If there is no special program for this, start the mode for strong fabrics at the maximum temperature and an additional rinse. Naturally, the machine is run without laundry, but with detergent. Start of work begins with pressing the "Start" key.

After that, the electronic display will show the weight of the loaded laundry, the water temperature and the time remaining until the end of the washing process. With the corresponding key, the start can be postponed for up to 23 hours. The machine will not start working until this time has elapsed.

At the end of the wash, the door remains locked for a while, after which the laundry can be removed. According to the user's manual, the machine should be disconnected from the power supply and the water tap should be turned off. After each wash cycle, the drum should be inspected, as foreign objects may remain in it (forgotten metal buckles or rivets can lead to rust).

To prevent mold from developing in the cuff, it must be wiped dry. The outer casing of the machine is wiped with soft sponges with any cleaning agents without abrasives.
