Today in every home, cafe or restaurant there is a stove for cooking. She has become an integral part of the kitchen area. But in order to purchase such a product, it is worthwhile to familiarize yourself in advance with a number of advantages of electric, gas, induction cookers. This article will help you choose the right ZVI slab for your home.

Varieties

The choice is small - a gas, electric or induction cooker with a number of its own characteristics. Each of the representatives of these devices has both advantages and disadvantages. Let's analyze each type in turn.

Gas

It is considered to be the most economical of all variations. ZVI gas stoves win in pricing due to their lower cost than electric ones, and in further operation they significantly reduce the cost of utilities. This is due to the low cost of gas compared to electricity. And also it is worth noting a huge plus of the product - it is the ability to cook in any dish (electric ovens are not suitable for cooking, say, in a pot, which cannot be said about gas representatives of kitchen products).

Most consider it a disadvantage to form soot on the surface, making it difficult to maintain the frequency of the surface. It should be said here that taking care of the stove is not difficult, it is much more difficult to remove greasy stains, leaked milk and other contaminants caused during operation.

First of all, it is worth paying attention to the main thing - safety of use. Most modern models are equipped with a special "gas control" function.

When the fire is turned off, the gas supply stops, as a result of which accidents can be avoided. This function is especially useful when small children are at home. But even in their absence, the best choice for a gas stove will be a model with a new locking system, which will protect the owners from all sorts of dangers from which no one is immune.

The standard 4-burner model is great for cooking, but it is possible to set more or less. Sometimes you can see the fancy design of the model, for example, a triangular or even a square burner, but the performance does not suffer from this in the least.

Electrical

These representatives are distinguished by a wide variety of assemblies. For example, when the oven is electric, the top cooking plate can be gas, electric, or combined (there are two types of burners). The advantages of such products are greater functionality. The ZVI electric stove can be equipped with many modern functions, such as:

  1. automatic cooking;
  2. timer;
  3. indication device.

    Another advantage is the possibility of installing a spit, which allows you to grill at home or in a restaurant. Such a stove is simply created for cooking, for which it is appreciated by professional chefs, however, it is not recommended to install such a stove at home due to the high consumption of electricity during operation.

    ZVI electric stoves have more variations of the hob burners.

    • The simplest of all is the spiral. Its feature is rapid heating and cooling. However, it is difficult to come across such models because they are outdated.
    • Halogen hobs were named for the presence of a powerful halogen lamp. It heats up very quickly and gives off a lot of heat. It takes a matter of seconds for the surface to heat up.
    • The most common burner bands. This is due to the ease of use, they do not require special care for themselves, they are simply controlled and heat up quite quickly. Thanks to these advantages, they almost ousted their aforementioned competitors.

    Induction

    Briefly describing these models, we can say that this is an engineering miracle. Their peculiarity is to heat the dishes using eddy currents, in other words, they do not heat up by themselves. Installed only on glass ceramic surfaces. Among the advantages are fast heating and low energy consumption during operation. Low energy consumption is achieved by means of hobs with variable modules, which in turn gives a presentable appearance.

    The disadvantage of this product is that not all dishes fit the stove. This is indeed the case, but in reality it rarely becomes a problem when cooking.

    Surface coating

    ZVI slabs can have a coating made of different materials. Budget variations are made of enamelled or stainless steel. Electric models, as a rule, have a glass-ceramic coating. Each of the representatives has its own advantages and disadvantages.

    • Enamelled steel has a low cost. It is used in electrical and gas products. Despite the low cost, the surfaces can be attractive. Among the disadvantages is the ease of scratching.
    • Stainless steel (stainless steel) - a cheap and practical coating. Has resistance to mechanical stress. However, water marks or a simple touch often leave marks.
    • Glass ceramics is a versatile coating with a presentable appearance. Can withstand extreme temperatures. Afraid of heavy blows, easily scratched. It is also worth noting that sugar traces can remain forever if not removed when the oven is hot.
    • Strained glass applies only to gas stoves. Compared to glass ceramics, it has a lower cost, but is in no way inferior in appearance.

    Oven variations

    Like the top plate for cooking, the oven can be electric or gas. Nothing changes here, the first has an extended mode switch and functionality, the second consumes less energy.

    Gas ovens

    Quite simple designs. At the bottom of the chamber there is a burner that acts as a heating element. Sometimes it is allowed to equip additional electric heaters at the top. Sometimes there is a spit and grill in the ovens, but there is no automatic cooking program. You can turn on the product manually or by electric ignition, depending on the model, in addition, the design has an oven temperature sensor, which allows you to see and regulate the temperature.

    Electric oven

    It has more functionality, and also has heating elements from all sides at once, due to which it is distinguished by greater power and uniform roasting of meat. When an automatic cooking function is required, an electric oven is the best choice.

    Exploitation

    Cooking is carried out on one or more cooking zones. Choosing the right cookware is also an important factor. It should be larger than the burner, preferably with a thicker bottom. Cookware with embossed bottom must not be used in electric ovens.

    To avoid damage to electric stoves, you should turn on the burners only when the dishes are on them.

    But it is also worth adding that when the ZVI oven is turned on, only two burners work. Power is regulated by special knobs on the front panel, each of which denotes its accessory with a pattern. Gas ones differ only in that they need to be ignited when the electric ones are turned on when the regulator is turned.

    Typically, the power is divided into 4 divisions:

    1. keeping warm, used for extinguishing;
    2. cooking;
    3. frying;
    4. heating the liquid to a boil.

      The user can independently adjust the power, these recommendations are optional.

      In electric furnaces, when turned on, a lamp lights up, which indicates the start of work. It is advised to start cooking at maximum power and then set the required one. When finishing cooking, it is advised to turn off the oven about 5-10 minutes before cooking. Due to the accumulated heat, the food continues to cook, and the service life of the product will be longer.

      In the case of an electric stove, it is recommended to use cookware with a dry bottom. This will prevent surface deformation or corrosion of the burners.

      The oven is designed for stewing, frying, baking on a baking sheet or on a wire rack. Similar to the plate, it is adjusted by the handle.

      In case of failure, you can select individual spare parts for the oven, they are all different, and it is required to select depending on the product model.

      Installation instructions

      Below we suggest that you read the installation instructions.

      • First of all, you need to run the power cable directly to the meter. The section is selected based on power, voltage and number of phases.
      • After the cable is laid, a special socket is installed, designed for a rated current of 32A or 40A.
      • There is a metal cover on the back of the oven, which must be unscrewed and the cable secured inside.
      • Copper jumpers are installed.
      • The wire is connected.
      • The panel closes.
      • The oven is connected to the network.
