The ripening period of this variety of raspberries is average, but much depends on climatic conditions, agricultural technology. In the south, the fruiting period begins in early July, in the north - in the second half of July.

The specified variety is of high yield. From one bush, you can collect at least 2.2 kg of fruits, the maximum amount is 3 kg. Industrial cultivation brings from 80 to 120 kg / ha.

Fruits have average indicators of weight and size: weight varies from 2.5 to 2.9 g. As for the shape, it is rounded-conical. The fruits are dense, the color is bright crimson, the peduncle requires effort when removed. The berries ripen in a cyst-like manner, and not chaotically, so the collection is easy. Care measures are not too complicated, but they require accuracy.

• Moisturizing and mulching. The variety does not require a lot of moisture, it tolerates dry periods well. However, do not abuse this, otherwise the berries will be dry. It is enough to keep the soil moist, so it is important to mulch the soil. For this, pine bark, humus, foliage, peat with a layer of about 8 cm are suitable.
• Top dressing. If you use compost, humus as mulch, this will have a positive effect on the development of raspberries, but this will not be enough. In the spring, it is necessary to feed the shrub with nitrogen-potassium compounds. When fruiting begins, superphosphates are required. It is better to exclude potassium chloride, since this variety does not like this substance.
• Pruning.It is best to prune in the fall when the harvest period is over. The stems are cut flush with the soil. In the spring, it is necessary to remove all unhealthy shoots. The frozen ones are shortened to the level of healthy kidneys. Stimulating fruiting requires a 10 cm pruning.

The raspberry area should be well lit. It is better to avoid drafts, areas where groundwater is located high, otherwise the root system can rot and the plant can get sick. The site is prepared in advance: sand is added to dilute heavy soils, humus to increase nutritional value, lime to reduce acidity. It is very important to dig up the soil, remove all weeds, and let the soil stand for a couple of weeks. You can start preparing the site from the autumn period.

Planting time varies according to the characteristics of the growing region. In the southern regions - mid-April, in the northern - mid-May. In any case, disembarkation ends before the period of sap flow begins. In the fall, this procedure is carried out after shedding the leaves.

The modest grows well in rows, it is better to look after her, it is convenient to harvest. So that raspberries do not grow and develop well, it is important to take into account the following nuances:

• the depth of the holes is more than 40 cm;
• the distance between the planting material is up to 1.5 m;
• row spacing - from 2 to 2.5 m;
• seedlings deepen to the level of the neck;
• after planting, the seedlings are cut to 40 cm so that all the energy is spent on rooting.

This variety is resistant to heat and frost, so it can be grown in the south and north. You do not need to cover the shrub for the winter period, as it perfectly tolerates frosts down to -30 ° and below.

Resistance to diseases typical of raspberries in this variety is high, the shrub is especially resistant to the fungus, anthracnose. But gray rot can affect the plant.As for pests, they also rarely attack the raspberry tree, with the exception of the spider mite. It is recommended to periodically carry out preventive measures. Do not forget that aggressive agents can only be used outside the growing season, otherwise the fruits will be unusable.

Reproduction of this variety allows you to keep the characteristics of the variety practically unchanged. If you buy ready-made seedlings, choose proven nurseries, do not buy plants that look unhealthy. The breeding methods are as follows:

• root-type offspring;
• green fresh cuttings;
• rooting cuttings.

The first method is considered by breeders to be the simplest and most effective.
