• Measure all parameters - this refers to the length of the previous drive.
• Test to see if the holes for the handle pin (square piece) match.
• Insert the prepared locking mechanism into the groove. If necessary, it can be driven into place with a weak tapping using a rubber-tipped hammer. Before fixing the mechanism, it is necessary to check whether it fits into the prepared groove.
• Replace the handle and secure with the screws.

In the case of a wooden door, as with any door made of wood, for example, an interior door, the process of rotating the lock is not complicated. Another thing is actual - establishing the type of mechanism that needs to be changed, as well as adjusting the shape of a new product to the existing parameters.

The operating principle is outlined below.

• A faulty or outdated lock is dismantled and, based on its configuration, a new device is purchased. The advantage of this step is that there is no need to make corrections to the overall structure of the door leaf and the entire door system.
