In an effort to create an atmosphere of home comfort, creative design has no boundaries. Almost any look at furniture leads to a new design trick. Take, for example, tables with photo prints: modern kitchen furniture looks extraordinary due to a special decorative technique. These accessories are able to instantly transform the space, setting it the right tone and mood.

Tables with photo printing are associated with kitchen furniture, but in reality their scope is wider. These accessories can be dining, bedside, coffee. The difference between the models is in shape, height, size and purpose.

All tables are united by the presence of a unique pattern on the surface of the table top, with which you can:

• support the desired stylistic reception of the design;
• unobtrusively zoning the dining space;
• bring the right mood and temperature into the room;
• demonstrate the individuality of the interior composition;
• create comfortable and pleasant conditions for eating;

Photo printing is applied in several ways:

• by means of a special printer on a glass surface, followed by polymerization of the image under ultraviolet rays (a picture, after hardening of the paints, giving the surface resistance to mechanical damage);
• in the form of a film or fabric with a pattern inside the tabletop, consisting of two glass plates (durable technology, thanks to which, if the glass breaks, if it breaks, it will be glued together);
• using sandblasting technology with a special gun, stencils and quartz sand (the image cut on a metal, rubber surface or film is moved to glass, processing the contours with sand);
• directly onto the film, which is fixed on the underside of the glass tabletop by means of an adhesive layer or using an additional adhesive composition (volumetric image, not subject to abrasion).

In addition to glass surfaces, the print is applied to MDF and plastic countertops. Moreover, using different types of material (classic or stained glass), you can achieve an unusual effect. If the surface of the countertop is glass, self-adhesive is glued from below (you can use a material without an adhesive base with an attractive effect).

Glass tables with photo printing have many advantages. They can be square, round, rectangular, oval, straight or curved. These accessories:

• are comfortable furniture that provides a comfortable location for users, taking into account the height and area of ​​the tabletop;

Food cools faster on this furniture, which has been repeatedly noticed by users. Dishes on such tables can be placed freely when moving. no scratches even when rubbed over the surface with a spoon or fork. However, it is unacceptable to put dishes on this furniture in a big way. Do not carry heavy objects on the surface: this can lead to scratches, cobwebs, visible in the sun.

Despite a number of positive qualities, photo-printed kitchen tables have several disadvantages. They:

• burn out in the sun like a tablecloth or oilcloth (if located in the most illuminated place of the kitchen);
• in some models, they have a weak film, unprotected from the effects of aggressive chemicals, dyes that make up the juice, wine;
• accentuate any fingerprints that are visible on the surface, therefore, they need careful care to maintain perfect cleanliness;
• have significant weight due to the countertop itself, so it is inconvenient to move this furniture alone.

The surface of glass tables with photo printing is cold, which not everyone likes.

The main material of the table top is glass. It is it that plays a decisive role in the showiness of the print: due to it, the drawing looks voluminous and bewitching. This material brings lightness and airiness to any space, smooths out the difficult situation. Moreover, the following pattern is interesting: the shape of the model does not affect the degree of massiveness, even thick glass does not look bulky and heavy.

Most often, metal, plastic and wood are used for the body of the tables. Of these, steel and wood materials (MDF) are more reliable. By the way, it is they who determine the style of the room: wood and its derivatives gravitate towards the classics and familiar interior, metal is harmonious in modern design. The supports of this furniture are quite reliable: their diameter is 5-6 cm, the most common design technique is chrome, brushed steel and gold.

Less often, the legs are made of gray and black moire and metallic. Their number depends on the shape: models with a round table top often have three supports, while rectangular and oval ones have four.

As for plastic, you cannot put it on the same level as the previous raw material: even taking into account the special manufacturing technology, with significant mechanical stress, it can break off from the main part.

A plastic table is not practical.

The uniqueness of the kitchen tables with photo printing lies in the fact that they are appropriate in many stylistic solutions. If desired, they can be entered into a classical or ethnic direction, although they look more interesting and airy in modern designs. The most interesting solutions include styles:

• modern - design with an emphasis on bizarre shapes, sophisticated carvings and wood trim;
• pop art - a youthful style with its inherent glossy texture, bright contrasts and acid flashes;
• postmodernism - energetic solutions, the reference point of which is freedom of creativity, originality and vigor of color;

• rustic - a harmonious combination of natural materials with the latest in modern technologies;
• techno - strict geometry with a lot of metallic accents and urban colors;

• futurism - freedom of space, brightness and functionality;
• fusion - drawing up an interior composition from conflicting components;
• hi-tech - comfort, convenience combined with the latest technologies and lightness of forms;

• eclecticism - a combination of different styles by means of texture, shape, color;
• eco - an abundance of color and a focus on natural materials.

The design of the countertop is varied. Design techniques are expressed in the use of different techniques. The surface can be matte, glossy. The image is often applied to the entire area of ​​the tabletop, although, if the style requires it, the drawing can be located:

• in the center (more often in round models);
• in the locations of users;
• on four or two sides;
• in one corner;
• in two diagonal corners.

The most interesting theme of the combination is monochrome shades made on tinted glass. It can be a modest flower with curls or a white pattern with dark lines.

The color contrasts most demanded by buyers include:

• floral motifs (standard technique with a symmetrical arrangement);
• fruit (a great way to support a kitchen apron);
• imitation of natural materials (wood, cork, bamboo, tiles, marble);

The location of the image varies depending on the model. In classic models, the print is applied to the table top. More creative tables with a shelf under the countertop are often decorated differently: to add brightness and volume, the lower shelf can be painted in a bright color, while the upper one is decorated in one or two places with a contrast with a simple pattern. Other varieties may have a transparent top and a colored bottom shelf.

Photo tables receive mixed reviews. Most of them are positive: users note the originality of the idea, the brightness of the furniture, calling it stylish, colorful and practical, not inferior in quality and performance to wood counterparts. Users note that when buying, you need to purchase models exclusively made of thick tempered glass, while it is better to exclude products with a decorative film coating from the list: it is afraid of temperature.
