In order to clean the drain filter, you must first remove it from the household appliance itself. In order to get it, you need to do the following:

• remove the protective cover from the body;
• find a small recess on the side of the filter itself;
• grab it with your fingers and unscrew;
• if unscrewing is tight, it is necessary to check if the filter is additionally fastened with a bolt;
• if it is, then first you need to remove it, and only then remove the filter itself.

In some situations, especially when the drain dirt trap has not been cleaned for a very long time or the machine has recently begun to frequently give out errors during operation, it can be very difficult to remove it. In this case, you should not use force and try to pull it out. You just need to do the following:

• free up space around the automatic machine;
• lay the device on its side so that the filter itself is as close to the floor as possible;
• unscrew the pump;
• unscrew the filter through the resulting hole from the inside.

In order to clean this dirt trap efficiently and quickly, it is necessary in advance, even before removing the filter, to prepare the following tools:

• clean cloths with good absorbency;
• a toothbrush for cleaning small parts;
• gloves.

In addition, you may also need a screwdriver - if the filter itself is secured with a bolt. It is also necessary to prepare a clean floor cloth - it must be placed on the floor under the hole so that after removing the part, dirty water does not spread.

It is necessary to clean from dirt and debris not only the dirt trap itself, but also the cavity in which it is located. For this you need:

• with gloved hands, remove all foreign objects from the cavity, as a rule, these are threads, coins or buttons;

• then, under running water, the filter is thoroughly washed to remove any contaminants;
• wipe it dry and put it back in the washing machine.

The filler filter is cleaned as follows.

• All coarse debris is removed from the mesh surface.
• Soak the dirt trap itself in a citric acid solution for 15 minutes. Take 1 tsp for 1 liter of warm water. powder.
