Techno style attracted attention in the 80s of the XX century, in parallel with the active development of technology and the change in human values. The modern techno style includes some features of similar styles, but at the same time it is characterized by:

• clear lines and verified geometry of forms;
• laconic restrained color performance;
• practical and comfortable pieces of furniture;
• an abundance of metal surfaces, glass, plastic;
• the presence of all kinds of fashionable gadgets and various equipment;
• non-standard design and dimensions of lighting devices;
• minimal presence of textile elements and decor;
• spiral staircase structures;
• communications placed in plain sight.

Techno style interior design implies surface cladding with modern materials... In addition to finishing with concrete, glass, plastic and metal, wood is used sparingly. There are 2 options for wooden surfaces: raw, textured or polished.

It is appropriate to decorate the walls with panels, apply textured plaster with deliberate careless randomness. A popular design move is one of the walls that imitates natural uncoated brickwork, or the treatment of concrete with a transparent composition for decorative purposes. In principle, it is allowed to carry out various experiments with walls: painting, wallpapering, plastering, finishing with stone, tiles or bricks. Smooth and shiny or rough and matte wall texture - this choice is made according to personal preference.

The floor is covered with tiles, porcelain stoneware, marble. These are cold materials and techno is incompatible with carpets. Therefore, it is necessary to take care of the underfloor heating in advance.

When decorating ceilings, only 3 options are permissible:

• tensioned with spot lighting;
• concrete ceiling spaces with decorative beams and exposed ceilings;
• paneling.

It must be understood that the purpose of the walls, ceiling and floor is to serve as a background, and not to draw all attention to yourself. This does not apply to interior or decorative partitions. They usually play the role of decoration and are often made of glass with a mirror effect or wood in a preferred and appropriate finish.

The techno style dictates its own rules for windows and doors. A massive metal door is certainly installed at the entrance to the house. It has decorative rivets or laconic glass (mirror, plastic) inserts. Interior canvases are chosen from durable plastic, frosted glass, wood, chipboard or a combined type.

As for the colors, in the interior Techno style is dominated by cold shades of gray, matte or glossy metallic, tones of white, reddish-brown.

In a techno setting, the presence of minimum furniture... All items in the interior have clear geometry of forms and utmost functionality. Carved elements, curved lines are inappropriate. Wooden surfaces of structures are traditionally combined with metal, glass and plastic.

Strict forms are also inherent in upholstered furniture of restrained colors.... In the setting, there is often a metal wardrobe, similar to a production container, a tripod stool, open metal racks. Low sofas most often are not equipped with armrests, and if there are any, they are necessarily metal. Frameless furniture in the form of a pouf bag made of leather or a pear chair fits into the interior wonderfully. Coffee tables also differ in minimum height. Most often, the structure is made of glass and equipped with wheels.

All equipment is usually chrome-plated and designed in the same style. An exception can be made only for the hood. She is allowed to be translucent and "hover" over the slab. Or even be invisible to prying eyes (retractable design). Although it is often on the hood that designers attract attention when arranging a kitchen. Modern kitchen equipment allows you to find a real exclusive.

One of the features of Technotil is its lighting design. Lamps and chandeliers of incredible modifications are appropriate here. Telescopic guides, spotlights, thick wires, no lampshades are common design tricks. Glass bulbs often play the role of shades. Ideas: naked light bulbs, a large-sized backlit fan under the ceiling.

A magical play of light is obtained by using narrow metal plates spaced at some distance from each other as a shade.

Since the techno style is not comparable to the classical idea of ​​comfort, textile decorations are minimally used. Instead of curtains, roller blinds and metal blinds are attached to the windows. The latter option is considered a functional and convenient solution for the kitchen. Curtains with chrome grommets on bronze, gray or silver textiles are acceptable.

Many decorative elements are incompatible with techno, since this style is a solid decoration. But to emphasize the atmosphere of the design, they use fans, lamps without lampshades, stairs.

Metal and glass elements serve as decoration... The mirrors create the appearance of an expanded room and change the light presentation.

Of accessories on the walls use photo collages, black-and-white selections or avant-garde graphics in paintings on canvas. As for the framework, then there are no restrictions. Everyone chooses according to their taste.It can be blue-violet, daring red or neon orange, standard glass and metal.

Designers are able to bring a lot of interesting and "revitalizing" details to cold techno, regardless of the purpose of the room being decorated.

The main idea is clear zoning of space... This distinction is important and beneficial for the adolescent. The interior, thought out to the smallest detail and not cluttered with unnecessary details, is very popular among young people. Youthful maximalism gets the most suitable space for self-expression.

By the way, under the age of 13, this style is not just not suitable, but not at all recommended for children, according to psychologists. Young children need comfort, warm colors, light and a lively environment.

In the bedrooms, the techno style is decorated in a different way. A quiet rest is supposed here, so the room should be more comfortable. The arrangement is carried out according to the standard: the main place is reserved for the bed, there is a large wardrobe and a laconic dressing table.

The peculiarity of the style in the bedroom is rather manifested in the form of furniture. For example, the bed is installed on a podium, complemented by unobtrusive cold or colored lighting, and attached to the ceiling. Soft armchairs replace harmonious leather poufs.

Deliberately rough materials predominate in the wall cladding, which are not actually processed. The walls of the living room are simply concreted or plastered. Sometimes partial or full-fledged decorative brickwork is performed. On the ceiling, there are metal shields, stretch canvases or glossy plastic panels. A special entourage is given by open communications laid along the ceiling.

Here, the main focus is on technical equipment and unusual lighting. The main surfaces and all household appliances are kept in the same style. The dining area has a glass table with metal elements. It is important to pay a lot of attention to lighting in the form of floor lamps and built-in lamps, especially in the area of ​​the bar counter and work surfaces.

Usually, in decorating a teenager's room, artistically designed ceiling mounts or stairs are used. They remain in sight even after the completion of the renovation, in a peculiar way decorating the room. One of the walls must be assigned a decorative role, for example, it can be bare to brick or decorated with glass panels on a concrete base.

Kitchen furniture is a standard example of techno style: an abundance of metal surfaces, glass panels, countertops, an apron on the wall above the cutting table.

A techno-style living room is often combined with a kitchen, creating a single space.... To divide the area into zones, I use pipes and metal panels.

Sleeping beds there are not only extremely laconic design, but also the most effective performance - suspended on cables, large metal chains.

This design option opens up visual access to pipes, heating radiators, and various cables. Often metal surfaces are specially painted with paints of saturated colors: metallic, imitation of "rust", khaki. Translucent plastic or glass can be used as panels.
