Mexican style in the interior

Brightness of colors, passion and cheerfulness are the main features of the interior in the Mexican style. Every detail of it radiates positive and energy. To some, such an abundance of original ornaments and specific strokes will seem overly catchy - and even tasteless. But such is the nature of the Mexican, childishly direct and always enthusiastic perception of the world.

In the interior of Russian apartments and houses, this style direction cannot be called widespread - it is too exotic and has a kind of southern mentality, unusual for the peoples of cold countries. But still Mexican style, if you use some of its techniques and folklore motives in decoration and decor, will create an incredibly warm, positive atmosphere in your home.

Characteristics:

• surprisingly colorful and organic combination of different colors in the interior of one room;

• plastered walls suggest decorations in the form of paintings made in national and modern styles, necessarily bright, but also coinciding with the general palette.

Also characteristic features of the style are dishes and utensils made of ceramics, houseplants (mainly cacti). If the house is made in this style, then cacti and palm trees in tubs and clay pots are placed in the courtyard.

The passionate Mexican style allows many liberties in the treatment of colors and materials.

Color and texture - any, often interior items are decorated with ornaments in the national spirit. In addition, the style accepts all kinds of folding and wicker furniture, leather accessories with bright unusual upholstery.

Features of the design of bathrooms - sinks and bathtubs with ornaments, unusual forms of mirrors, the presence of living plants, a combination of yellow and blue shades in the decoration of the floor and walls... But sink countertops and shelves are usually made of wood.

Wooden headsets and kitchen cabinets, an apron in the form of a ceramic tile panel, a patterned floor and earthenware are the main trends in the creation of Mexican cuisine.
