Concrete bucket

A concrete bucket is a container used for conveying mortar in high-rise construction. In it, it is not only convenient to transport large volumes of mixtures by means of a crane, but also to store and supply mortar through the gutters during reinforcement and formwork, the construction of monolithic walls and columns.

It consists of a hopper where the solution is poured, a gate (gate) that provides a uniform flow of the mixture, a handle, clamps and transport loops, for which the crane carries out fastening, before lifting the container up. The material used is high-quality steel with a thickness of at least 2.5 mm. In this container, it is easy to lift any building solutions with a volume of 500 to 2000 liters to a height, except for quick-setting mixtures.

Bucket for concrete for building mix

The concrete bucket is characterized by high mobility, reliability, simplicity and ease of use.

There are two types:

  • swivel (inclined), characterized by the presence of a loading funnel and a reduced height of the solution loading;
  • vertical (non-rotating), used for the transport of very large or very small volumes of building mixtures.

Each type is used for specific types of work.

Types of concrete buckets

Swivel

It is also called an inclined or "slipper".

Containers are loaded horizontally, and transportation is carried out vertically.

pros

  • The swivel concrete bucket is advantageous in that it allows you to fix its inclined position. This feature makes it possible to increase the productivity of builders, since it makes it possible to work with greater comfort.
  • The design of the rotary container allows the solution to be fed in a directed and uniform manner, to adjust the tilt and turn.

Minus

The cost of the "shoe" depends on the parameters of carrying capacity and roominess, but in any case it is more expensive than similar vertical non-rotating bunkers.

Fixed

Because of its conical shape, the non-swiveling concrete bucket is called the "shot glass".

Compared to the previous design, the vertical hopper cannot be tilted. The builder has to adapt, so the price per hopper is lower compared to swivel buckets.

The solution is poured into the container from above (vertically), and unloading is carried out from below through a special hole equipped with a swivel chute for uniform concrete supply.

Depending on the need for volumes, a bunker of appropriate capacity and carrying capacity is selected.

Some models of "shot glasses" are equipped with special cradles for operators.

Buckets for concrete are necessary in construction, since they make it possible to deliver large volumes of building mixes to heights and hard-to-reach areas using lifting equipment.
