The desire to make the atmosphere in the home softer and more comfortable often forces people to abandon furniture with sharp corners. A good replacement for a classic coffee table is the oval type. But you need to thoroughly understand the intricacies of design and style in order to make the right choice.

The oval shape is attractive not only for its lightness. It makes furniture more mobile and easier to move. Even if the table stands in one place, it will take up a minimum of space there.

The oval-shaped coffee table can have very different designs.

If you are not limited to budget materials, you can also choose furniture made of vines and various metals, stone and ceramic structures.

Most often bought black, white, brown and gray coffee tables. These colors are graceful, almost universal, emotionally neutral and set in a business mood. If you have enough funds, you can even show your originality by purchasing a coffee table with inlaid precious stones. Forged or stone decorative parts are a little cheaper, but no less attractive in most cases.

In the living room, this type of furniture is placed in the recreation area, in the most conspicuous place, since it is intended to be the semantic center of the furnishings. In the bedrooms, next to the coffee table, it is appropriate to put a floor lamp to make the atmosphere even cozier and more intimate. An oval that combines glass and metal in its design will look very good in a high-tech setting. A truly original solution would be to abandon the legs, which are replaced by a solid base in the form of a cube, circle or cylindrical.
