Vertical type washing machines are in demand, and therefore are in the line of almost every brand. No exception is Ardo, which produces models in the middle price range. What other properties are typical for vertical-type models from this brand?

Peculiarities

Ardo is an Italian brand registered in 1968 and known as a manufacturer of functional and affordable home appliances. The brand relies on a high class of washing and energy consumption, pleases customers with a laconic design and extended functionality.

It is noteworthy that all models are assembled exclusively at a factory in Italy, so the build quality of the Ardo cars is the highest.

One of the obvious things about top-loading washing machines is how you load laundry into them. These models do not have the usual "porthole", but are equipped with a cover at the top of the device. This, in turn, makes it possible to produce machines of a smaller configuration, the average dimensions of a top-loading model are 40 cm wide and 60 cm deep.

Ardo is the author and manufacturer of combination tanks - they are based on stainless steel, and the outer part is covered with heat-resistant plastic. Such a tank heats up quickly and keeps heat for a long time, which allows you to reduce energy consumption during the washing process.

In addition, the metal blank of the tank is connected with the enamel using a special technology, which allows us to speak of increased protection of the tank against corrosion. Finally, the tank has a noise-absorbing Eco-carbon coating.

The drums of Ardo clippers are made exclusively of stainless steel, which allows them to demonstrate reliability and durability even under increased loads, as well as the ability to withstand centrifugal force.

The Ardo machine is equipped with a permanent magnet inverter motor. It reduces the noise level of the device and increases its functionality.

As already mentioned, the manufacturer relies on an economical mode of operation of its products. To do this, in modern models of washing machines, the Easy Logic system is installed, which automatically calculates the required volume of water for a specific wash, energy consumption. The built-in Janus system enables the machine to self-diagnose.

The Eco Ball system allows you to improve the quality of washing, regulate the consumption of powder and ensure its better dissolution and penetration into the structure of the fabric. Most models, even inexpensive ones, are equipped with a delayed start function.

Advantages and disadvantages

The advantages of a machine with a vertical type of loading laundry are its design features. Due to the fact that there is no need to make a hatch in the front, the manufacturer has the ability to immerse the drum deeper "into the bowels" of the body and fix it not with one, but with two bearings... This has a positive effect on the performance and durability of both the drum itself and the bearings. The latter, by the way, are one of the weak points of the front-type models. In addition, such a design provides additional rigidity to the machine - it is less susceptible to vibrations, it works quite quietly.

However, design features of vertical Ardo models can lead to certain breakdowns... So, during long-term operation, corrosion of the upper part of the tank often appears, which is associated with the supply of water to the drum through the top. Also, in machines with more than 5 years of service life, spontaneous opening of the drum covers may occur. This leads to the separation of the flaps or the breakage of the drum itself.

The drum of the vertical type machine is more spacious than similar front-loading models. This is a clear advantage of the former. but if the front-end can have a very large drum, in some models it is up to 17-20 kg of dry linen, then vertical structures can hold a maximum of 8-10 kg. The average figures for most models are 5-7 kg of dry linen. However, for household needs, as the reviews show, this is quite enough.

Another advantage of vertical washing machines is their compactness. As already mentioned, most of them are 40 cm wide, which makes it easy to place them in the bathroom or in the kitchen, even in small apartments. For older people, it is convenient that you do not have to bend over to load and remove the laundry. The opening lid allows you to remove the laundry while standing.

But for owners of built-in technology, vertical cars are hardly suitable. If the "front-end" can be placed in any niche, closed from above with a shelf or a tabletop, in the case of a vertical model this is impossible - then it will not be possible to open the cover of the unit.

The advantage of models of the vertical type is the ability to report laundry and detergents during the washing process. To do this, you just need to press the pause button, open the door and load the laundry. At the same time, this option in such units is considered standard, which cannot be said about the frontal counterparts. Not every washing machine with a hatch on the front is equipped with this function, and if it is, it increases the cost of the device.

When it comes to design, user opinions differ. Some people are comfortable with the minimalist appearance of vertical typewriters, while others find it boring and outdated.

The cost of vertical models is usually lower than the price of front ones. However, in operation, the latter can be more economical. This is due to the fact that the vertical model requires more water per wash cycle.

Model overview

Consider the most popular models of Ardo washing machines with a vertical load type.

Ardo TLN 85 SW

Compact model (width - 40 cm, depth - 60 cm, height - 90 cm) with electronic control, high energy efficiency class and washing quality (in both cases it is class A).

The maximum amount of dry laundry per load is 5 kg, the water consumption per wash cycle is 49 liters. Equipped with 19 washing programs, has a foam control function and a button lock.

Ardo TLN 105 SW

Outwardly, this model is similar to the previous one, but it has a higher energy efficiency class - A +. The quality of washing is class A, the maximum spin speed is 1000 rpm, the last parameter can be adjusted until the spin is completely turned off.

The number of programs is 19, including several for delicate fabrics. Dry laundry load - maximum 5 kg.

This model has higher protective mechanisms - it is the patented Easy Logic washing control system, drum auto-balancing, button locking during washing, pump self-cleaning system, foam control. The presence of these systems and functions determines the higher cost of this model compared to the previous one.

Ardo T80X

More compact (in comparison with previous models it has a height of 5 cm lower) model with a vertical loading type. The washing class is also somewhat inferior - class B, the maximum number of spinning revolutions is 800 per minute, the amount of water consumed per wash cycle is 51 liters. Drum volume - 5 kg of dry linen, mechanical control. Not a bad option for a family of 2-3 people and small apartments.

Ardo TLN 106 SA

Washing machine with a high energy efficiency class (A +) and washing quality (A). The maximum number of revolutions during spinning is 1000 per minute. This parameter can be adjusted directly during the washing process. The drum capacity is 16 kg, the number of programs is 19, there are options for washing delicate and woolen fabrics, additional spinning and anti-crease functions.

Safe operation is due to the presence of protection of the case against leaks, there is a system for monitoring imbalance and foaming.

TLN 106 LB - vertical

Stylish model characterized primarily by very quiet operation. Noise level during washing - 58 dB, during spinning - 77 dB. Energy class - the highest (A +), high quality washing (class A). The maximum spin speed is 1000 rpm, the water consumption per wash cycle is 57 liters. The machine has 15 programs, including modes for washing delicate and woolen items. But there is no drying option, which is a disadvantage for many users. There is a delayed start until 16 hours.

How to use?

The Ardo is easy to use. It is necessary to open the lid and flaps of the drum, load the laundry. Close the flaps of the drum, check how correctly and reliably it is done. Further the detergent is poured into the powder compartment, the lid is closed.

Now you need to plug the power cord of the machine into an outlet and select a suitable program for washing by turning the knob or pressing the display buttons. Adjust the temperature if necessary (for example, if you want to change the temperature in the standard setting) or the spin speed. You can also select additional options (pre-wash, extra rinse - in some models this function is available only after the end of the main program). Then the "start" button is pressed and the washing process starts.

If the actions are performed incorrectly or the flaps of the tank are not tightly closed, the corresponding error signal is displayed on the display, and the washing process does not start. In the event of a more serious malfunction, the display also shows an error code. The instructions for the typewriter give a detailed decoding of each code.

It should be noted that using the washing machine is intuitive, partly because the manufacturer uses graphic symbols in the name, not their alphabetic descriptions. So, a box with cotton is a designation for the washing mode of cotton linen (cycle for 145-170 minutes at a water temperature of 60-90 degrees). A ball is a wash for woolen items, a bulb is a mode for synthetics, etc.
