There are many options for finishing the corridor in apartments. But the best of all are those that allow you to achieve a visual expansion of the space. It is this effect that will be achieved if you apply wallpaper.

The entrance hall is rated by guests and casual visitors before all other rooms in the house. Only by formalizing it properly, it will turn out to create a pleasant impression. The big problem is that standard wallpapers, regardless of color, do not allow for the aesthetic taste of owners and designers.

Wall murals in the corridor can eliminate this difficulty, because they can contain a lot of attractive, original images and are made in a variety of colors. However, it is worth clarifying right away: the selection process only seems simple and easy, only strict adherence to some rules will allow you not to regret your decision.

The most radical experiments, the most original approaches are possible. But if you want to not only show your ingenuity and originality, but also get a reliable result, you should not ignore the general principles.

One requirement is invariable: harmonious entry into the interior, stylistic uniformity with the headset and other decorative elements, coatings. The decision should be made at the very beginning, if only because the style and material depend on it.

A wide variety of wallpaper can be glued to the wall, but those that are decorated with drawings that create comfort and a favorable impression are preferable. The owners of modern living rooms are not at all obliged to choose any one color, use whatever you like, as long as they are combined with the chosen style of the room.

Depending on it, it is advisable to focus on the following plots:

• For the classic - with a strict ornament, without catchy tones, all the lines are clearly traced.

But these general considerations are not enough, it is also necessary to take into account the fact that too luxurious "canvases" or pictures with a complex plot are undesirable. It is definitely impossible to recommend mixing wallpapers from different collections without special knowledge or consultation with designers.

But it is worth considering, in addition to what has already been said, a few more nuances:

• The optimal, according to experts, is a combination of bright and calm colors. Images with strong symmetry look good. Even the most boring interiors can be revived and refreshed by introducing plant motifs into them.

• Care should be taken when choosing forest landscapes, since they no longer correspond to the latest fashion, it is more correct to use them only in a thematic environment. Those who dream of traveling to an exotic country at the end of the world can at least visually embody their idea, if it fits into the overall concept.

• Famous architectural monuments will harmoniously fit into a room designed in the Scandinavian style. Images of tall and very tall buildings, mountain peaks will look good only against the background of the space verified to the last detail.

As you can see, choosing a wallpaper and using it correctly is quite simple. You just need to take into account a number of practical points and think about the stylistic compatibility of interior elements.
