Experts recommend installing a dishwasher at a distance of no more than one and a half meters from the sewer drain. This distance must be maintained to prevent breakage and also to ensure stability against loading. Before installation, you can develop a project and calculate all the parameters so that the machine fits into the space. Of course, the PMM should be located near the outlet, often built-in models are mounted in a kitchen set.

The main rule of DIY dishwasher manufacturers is to use the right devices. Do not use extension cords or surge protectors, the same applies to tees. Such intermediaries are often unable to withstand the load and may soon melt, leading to a fire. To connect, you need a separate socket, which has a grounding. In almost every home, the junction box is located at the top, so a wire must be routed to it in a cable duct. As mentioned above, the distance from the machine to the outlet should also be no more than one and a half meters, moreover, the cord is often just that long.

You will need a guide that will help you get through much faster. Close the tap on the water supply. Prepare in advance a tee with a three-way angle tap, which will be installed at the connection point of the water consumer. Once the installation is complete, you can open the valve and install the dishwasher inlet hose. Sometimes the thread of the tee does not match the hose, use an adapter and the problem will be solved. If the apartment uses rigid pipes, you will need a filter for coarse water purification, which should be located in front of the tap, this will extend the life of the machine. But if possible, replace the pipe with a flexible hose, which will simplify the process.

Another connection option is to directly connect the hose and the mixer, but it will be impossible to use water while washing the dishes, and the view will also be unpresentable.

If we are talking about a freestanding dishwasher, this will not be a problem - you just need to find a free space near the water supply, sewer and outlet.

There are several subtleties that will help you get the job done faster. If you want to install the dishwasher in the cabinet, make sure that its dimensions are fully compatible with the technique. Often there is an installation plan in the manufacturer's instructions and in the documents to help with installation. Sometimes additional accessories are included in the PMM kit, for example, a strip for reinforcement or a film for protecting from steam - they must be used.

If the machine body was not mounted flush, the feet can be used to adjust the unit. The side bushing must be used if it comes with the kit. The body must be fixed with self-tapping screws. It is recommended to install the PMM away from the stove and other equipment that heats up: the distance should not be less than 40 cm. Do not put the dishwasher together with the washing machine, the latter can produce vibrations that can damage the contents, especially if you loaded fragile dishes.

The design of each model may have slight differences, but basically the structure is the same, so the installation process is standard.
