The safety and environmental friendliness of the product, as well as the production process, is confirmed by the corresponding certificate (both domestic and European).

The company has an extensive retail network, which is represented by 27 representative offices. Keramin sells its products not only in Belarus, but also supplies them to Russia, the USA, Canada, Asia and Europe.

Peculiarities

Belarusian tiles "Keramin" are intended for facing wall and floor surfaces. It is available in a wide variety of colors, designs, formats and textures. Each collection includes floor and wall tiles, as well as a set of decors - friezes, inserts, panels (made in the general style of the series).

Ceramic tile cover can be matte or glossy, textured or smooth straight. The manufacturing process includes several serial-parallel stages, specific for the production of unglazed and glazed material, respectively.

First, the base is prepared from the raw materials. For this, all materials are first dosed, then crushed and mixed. Clay is combined with water to the consistency of sour cream, and then ground with non-plastic additives. The result is a slip. The stage of creating a press powder consists of several processes, during which it is ensured that a material ready for pressing with specified technical parameters is obtained.

Next, they move on to the pressing process, which is carried out in a semi-dry way. The finished mixture, which looks like a powder, is pressed on both sides, as a result of which the granules are deformed and moved. Due to this, the required level of strength of the finished product is laid. At this stage, a press with a force of 6200 tons is used.

After passing the pressing procedure, the tiles are dried with hot air. During this process, the tile first heats up, then excess moisture is evaporated from it and cooled. The next important step is decoration, during which glaze, pattern or engobe is applied to the upper side of the tile.

During the production process, a pattern can be applied to a tile in different ways:

  • Silk-screen printing. A technology in which the drawing is applied with mastic through special stencils.
  • Digital printing. This is the most modern way of transferring a pattern to a tile, which allows you to bring to life any design ideas, as well as very accurately imitate the pattern of various natural materials (stone, marble, wood). In addition, digital printing technology is very convenient for the production of trial releases of tiles and launching a series of new products.
  • Rotocolor technology makes it possible to apply on the tiles not only the pattern, but also the texture of natural materials, which is ensured by using a special drum with a silicone coating, from which the relief is transferred to the tile blank.

The glaze is applied to dried or already burnt tiles. To create the glaze, the company uses: kaolin, frit, sand, coloring pigments, oxides. The glaze is applied to the tiles and melted. When the temperature drops, the glaze hardens, acquiring the properties of glass.

The final stage of production is firing. It is at this point that the facing material acquires those properties that allow it to be used for facing various surfaces. The firing process is carried out in special ovens for 30-60 minutes.

A single firing involves coating the tiles with glaze and subsequent firing. In this way, flooring material is produced. The wall tiles are fired two times - first the dried workpiece, and then the glazed or engobe-coated part.

The use of double firing allows you to expand the range of design solutions and use additional materials for decoration, such as metallized glazes, "vitrose", chandeliers, materials imitating gold and platinum.

For the manufacture of friezes, inserts, borders, the starting material is the same tile. The appropriate decor is simply applied to it, then it is fired and cut into the appropriate formats.

Advantages

The main advantages of Keramin tiles, which explain its long-standing popularity among consumers, are:

Reviews

About 70% of buyers recommend Keramin as a good finishing material. At the same time, it is noted that an important role in the choice of this particular facing coating was played by its democratic price. The tile design is presented in both rather laconic and sophisticated options.

The reviews also indicate that the tile is of very good quality that complies with the standards. Its texture looks different in different rooms and under different lighting conditions. Glossy products have very good reflective properties, due to which the surrounding space is visually enlarged.

Tilers note that Keramin tiles are well cut, it can be conveniently and quickly laid, since it does not matter in which direction the laying should be done (vertically or horizontally). No cracks or chips form on the material when drilling. The relief on the ceramic tile is located in such a way that, when cut, any of its parts has its own bulges, due to which it is well attached to the tile adhesive.

Among the shortcomings, consumers point to the high cost of decorative panels, inserts, friezes, glass elements. Some people complain about different tile sizes and not always an even surface. But even so, in general, consumers give high marks to this manufacturer.
