Brick making machines are special equipment, with the help of which a ready-made building material can be made from a dry mixture. A few years ago, the production of bricks was established only at large enterprises, since this required specific overall equipment. Now the machines have become more compact, so both small private companies and individuals can make bricks.

Types and features

Brick making machines can be roughly divided into three broad categories.

  1. Manual and low power. They are characterized by low performance. On average, such a machine can make only 1000 bricks in a full 8-hour work shift. The cost of such machines is 65 thousand rubles.
  2. Machines belonging to the middle category. Here the productivity is doubled, that is, up to 2000 pieces in 8 hours. But the cost for models from this category starts from 350 thousand rubles.
  3. Fully automated machines. They are capable of producing up to 6,000 pieces in 8 hours. These machines are often referred to as mini-factories. The cost starts from 2 million rubles.

The main factories producing machine tools from each category are Legostanok, Monolit, Spetstekhnika, Dobrynya, Zeus and some others. All these companies operate on the territory of the Russian Federation. They mainly produce machines that subsequently produce facing and other bricks. The raw material is a mixture of clay and other components.

The so-called Lego bricks are made by devices that are created in Brazil, Italy, Spain. Their products do not have the proper pressure, but at the same time they have a rather high cost.

Machine tools from China are also popular. Everything is fine in them with automation, but there is not enough press power.

Model overview

There are a large number of models on the market that differ in cost, power and other parameters. The most popular models are as follows.

  • "Mastek-Meteor" Is a vibrating press, which is designed not only for creating bricks, but also for paving slabs, curbs. Such a machine will be the optimal solution for small production facilities. Only 2-3 people are required to service the device. The productivity of the machine is low, but the quality is at a good level. On average, the number of products manufactured is 180 units per full hour of working time.
  • AKS-7. The model is also suitable for small spaces. The productivity is 6-8 units per minute. A distinctive feature of such a device is the high quality of the steel from which it is made. Brick produced on such a machine is particularly durable, so it is often used to create load-bearing structures.
  • "Bulava" 2АС Is a fully automated brick making device with the possibility of simultaneous double-sided pressing. The quality of the bricks produced is also kept up to date. It is used for the construction of supporting structures.

The device has one significant drawback - it works only in automatic mode. Semi-automatic and manual modes are excluded in this case.

These are only the most popular models from the entire range.

Choice

In order to choose a brick machine suitable for all parameters, it is necessary to focus on important criteria. First, one should take into account the area of the room in which the corresponding equipment will be installed. You should also pay attention to the following nuances:

  • unit cost;
  • how many people will be required to service it;
  • performance;
  • the quality of the products.

In order to choose a really high-quality device, it is recommended that you initially familiarize yourself with all the available features. It is recommended to purchase equipment directly from manufacturing plants or trusted suppliers.

How to do it yourself?

If for some reason it is not possible to buy factory equipment, then the machine can be made at home with your own hands. A home-made apparatus, of course, will be inferior in performance to the factory ones, but the quality of the brick will be no worse (subject to the production technology).

Products made with home-made equipment are unlikely to be sold, since the factories comply with the requirements of state standards. But such bricks can be used at the household level, for example, to perform small tasks on a personal plot.

To make a homemade machine tool, you need to prepare tools:

  • grinding angle device;
  • welding machine;
  • sandpaper.

As basic and auxiliary materials, you will need:

  • channel (width - 10 cm, and thickness - at least 5 mm);
  • two pipes for the lever and piston (5 and 9 cm);
  • steel sheet not thinner than 3 mm;
  • fasteners;
  • paint of the selected color.

In order to make the process of creating a homemade apparatus more understandable, it is recommended to take the drawing shown in Figure 1 as a basis.

At the very beginning of the process, it is important to create a reliable frame. To do this, two racks are made from the prepared channel and are interconnected by a crossbar. Next, the running element is welded. Do not forget that it is necessary to make a hole in the sheet for the piston.

Next, a bunker with a lid is created. A handle must be welded to it without fail. At the final stage, it is necessary to make a piston. It is recommended to create it from a strip of sheet metal and reinforce it with special ribs.

To increase the service life of the machine, it must be cleaned with sandpaper, primed and painted. The device is ready. Now you can make bricks. But at the same time, do not forget that it is extremely dangerous to use such products for the construction of load-bearing walls. Products simply will not withstand the assigned load. But such bricks are suitable for the construction of fences, barriers, decorative finishes, laying out paths and curbs.
