The main color of the petals is pink. The buds are colored brighter, with hints of orange. The blossoming flowers are salmon pink with a copper tint. Roses are bright, goblet in the budding stage, with a gradual transition to a cupped shape. The flowers are large, 8-10 cm in diameter, moderately double, with 20-30 petals each.

Rose Ali Baba is a fairly young variety that has proven itself among gardeners and the professional community. Ali Baba is a versatile rose that can decorate different parts of the garden. Due to the ability of the lashes to reach a considerable length, the plants can be used to decorate gazebos, pergolas and arches. When placed alone, the rose looks spectacular against the background of green conifers or a wall entwined with ivy. Bushy plantings can be used as a hedge by regularly keeping the bushes neat and tidy.

This rose is successfully cultivated in the climate of central Russia. It also grows well in warmer regions.

Plants of this variety are best placed in partial shade in order to preserve the decorative effect of blooming roses. The soil of Ali Baba's rose needs light, nutritious, not too moist. You should not place the bush in lowlands, as well as in places with high groundwater, in areas open to the wind. When choosing a seedling, it is worth giving preference to grafted rather than own-rooted options, the optimal plant age is 2-3 years.

This factor also affects the timing of the transfer of the culture to the ground. For a grafted rose, planting is carried out in spring and autumn. Own-rooted seedlings are transferred to the ground from mid-April to the 3rd decade of May. So by the fall, Ali Baba will have time to grow the underground part of the shoots for safe wintering.

Climbing roses require a little more attention than erect-stemmed plants. From the very moment of landing, they require a mandatory garter to the support. In addition, the bushes have to be carefully shaped, regularly irrigated, and maintain a nutrient medium in the root zone.

During the first 2 years after planting, watering is very important for this rose. Under normal conditions, it is carried out up to 2 times a week; in the heat, the frequency of irrigation is carried out with a reduction in the interval, almost daily. For adult bushes, it is not the frequency that is much more important, but the abundance of moisture intake. At least 20 liters of water are added under each.

Top dressing is also carried out regularly, with alternating organic and mineral fertilizers. They begin their introduction in the spring. First, a mineral complex is introduced that stimulates the laying of buds. In summer, the time comes for well-rotted organic matter, fresh manure is contraindicated for roses. In the fall, they again give nitrogen-free mineral dressing.

Ali Baba requires pruning 3 times during the season. In the spring, damaged shoots that have suffered during the wintering period are removed, as well as branches that distort the planned shape of the crown. In the summer, faded corollas must be removed, stimulating the formation of new buds. In the fall, the bush is cleared of sick and dead shoots, all old branches older than 2 years are cut out. For the winter, the crown is shortened by 1/2 of the total length.

This rose variety is well adapted to wintering without shelter. It is assigned the 6th zone of frost resistance according to the USDA classification. Plants tolerate temperatures as low as -23 degrees Celsius.

Ali Baba is a rose with a very strong immunity. It is highly resistant to black spot and powdery mildew.

The easiest way to propagate is climbing roses of this variety by cuttings. Planting material is harvested in the fall, after pruning. Leaves are removed from the shoots. Then they are placed in moist peat until spring. In the 2nd decade of April, the workpieces are divided into segments of 10-15 cm, with an oblique lower cut under a living kidney. Then, before rooting, they are sent into the ground under the film.
