The foreign word "hall" is translated as a hall. And although in Russian reality "hall" actually means an entrance hall, we can say that this is a special hallway, hallway-hall. Studios, which have recently become especially popular with young families, throw up the question of what to do with the hallway. The answer is almost obvious: it would be necessary to erect some kind of fencing and zoning the studio, taking into account a small hall.

You can, for example, put the sofa "face" in the room, then it is easy to outline a conventional place for the corridor behind its back. It is reasonable to move a miniature chest of drawers close to the back of the sofa from the side of the "hall", so the impression of the functionality of the hallway will increase. It is convenient to keep shoes and bags, gloves, umbrellas in the chest of drawers.

Your mini-lounge will complement a different flooring from your studio floor. If you choose a carpet according to the size of the hallway area, it will become even more beautiful. And you can't carry dirt from the street directly into the living room. A second door will always help to effectively divide the space. When the door is closed, the living area becomes more private.

Wealthy owners of houses with halls, emphasizing luxury, have the opportunity to cover the floor with natural parquet.

Well, it would be illogical not to say a few words about such a rich floor decoration as natural stone. Granite, marble - this is, of course, a special chic, indescribable beauty. A stone floor, of course, will cost tens of times more than all other options.

Modest owners agree to linoleum as the most budgetary way of finishing. It is better to purchase this material with a graphic, geometric pattern.

The carpet is also good and soft to the eye, adding coziness. You just have to think about how to cover areas subject to increased mechanical stress with a thicker structure (mats).

In order to decorate a modern spacious hall in a classic style, one must remember: most often there are no windows in the entrance rooms, artificial lighting is used. Therefore, it is more practical to withstand the decoration in white or light colors. The list of them is as follows: beige, light coffee, light brown palette.

To emphasize the color saturation, blotches of restrained black or brown colors are allowed. This will provide a sophisticated look for your large hallway. Stripes, inserts of tiles, fragments of wooden planks add depth to the color, visually expand the hallway and "raise" the ceiling.

The geometric shapes used to decorate the interior cannot be spontaneous. If you have designer inserts on the walls of a square or geometric shape, then it is correct to use a simple rectangular doorway. A certain harmony should be seen in this.

Free space in the lobby is very important so that unnecessary things do not hinder movement. Therefore, in an ordinary apartment, it is better to avoid bulky furniture, limit yourself to a table, a curbstone and shelves. You should not create unnecessary newspapers, old shoes in the warehouse hall. It should be clean and fresh here.

To leave free space in a not too voluminous room, it is practical to resort to built-in furniture. The sliding wardrobe will look compact. Cabinets for non-bulky things are also convenient.

Well, the owners of a wide hall can afford to furnish the "entrance hall" with sofas, chests of drawers, and armchairs. In general, if we proceed from the essence of the purpose of the “room number one”, in it visitors hold meetings, wait for a reception or a decision.
