Among the many solutions that effectively decorate the interior of the room, the panel takes its very worthy place. Hand-made products look especially advantageous, because each of them is original and unique in its own way. For this reason, such compositions are made more and more often, using a variety of techniques and techniques.

How to make paper?

The presented material is easy to use and accessible to everyone, thanks to which its popularity is deservedly high.... The abundance of types, colors and sizes of paper deserves special attention, which can please any creator of original compositions.

From wallpaper

There are several ways to make a panel from the material in question.

  • Patchwork technique... It involves the use of fragments of wallpaper of the most different shapes - the main thing is that they fit together. Many craftsmen cut flower squares from several types of raw materials, placing them in rows in a specific order and securing them with glue.
  • Work with whole wallpaper. In such cases, it is enough to find material with an interesting pattern and carefully cut it out. The resulting decor element remains to be inserted into a beautiful frame or glued to the wall, complementing it with a profile strip.
  • Combined technique. This approach allows you to combine whole pieces of wallpaper with small pieces. Panels made in this way can be very different - in full accordance with the idea of their creator.

As for the color range of products, it must correspond to the design of the room and the taste characteristics of its owner. If it is difficult to decide on the right option, you should give preference to soft and unobtrusive shades.

From newspaper tubes

This method of making a panel assumes the following procedure:

  • cut the newspaper in half;
  • apply a thin layer of glue to each of the parts obtained;
  • twist sheets of newspaper into tubes (you need to do this diagonally, using a knitting needle for convenience);
  • cover each of the decorative elements with acrylic paint (the recommended solution is a smooth transition from one shade to another);
  • smear the resulting bundles with glue and roll into a spiral;
  • fix the elements with rubber bands;
  • dry the spirals well within 24 hours.

After the specified time has elapsed, it remains to remove the rubber bands and start composing the composition. Such a panel can be either with a base prepared in advance, or without it, when the parts are attached directly to the wall.

From toilet paper rolls

This solution combines obvious advantages - simplicity and originality. To create a panel in the considered method, you must:

  • cut the bushings into several pieces across;
  • flatten the resulting elements so that each of them has 2 bends;
  • take a few more sleeves and cut the required number of thin strips from them (they are useful for creating curls and cores);
  • combine parts with bends in the desired order to obtain flowers and branches with leaves;
  • fix each workpiece with hot melt glue;
  • paint decorative elements;
  • wait for all parts to dry;
  • insert cores into flowers;
  • form a panel in accordance with your preferences, fixing the elements with hot melt glue.

Also, the parts can be immediately attached to the wall without connecting them to each other.

Pape art

This manufacturing technique is one of the finest examples of arts and crafts. Such a panel is performed in several stages:

  • prepare thin paper napkins and roll them into tubes of different lengths (the procedure is performed with hands soaked in water);
  • arrange the elements of the composition in the required way and fix them with glue;
  • finish painting.

The latter most often involves the use of acrylic. Also, on the protruding parts of the panel, you can apply a coating that imitates precious metals.

From colored

Like other methods of creating a panel from paper, this option is simple and very popular, and therefore it is suitable even for a school master class. Below is the simplest way to make a decorative composition:

  • make a heart-shaped pattern;
  • using the created sample, cut out the required number of parts from colored paper (8 for each flower);
  • fold each heart in half, turning it into a petal;
  • to form flowers from the created decorative elements, connecting the parts with glue;
  • make leaves (they also need heart-shaped blanks - only green and smaller);
  • place all the elements of the composition in the intended order and glue them to the base.

The latter can be either a sheet of cardboard or a flat wall.

Panels made of round structures are no less interesting. To create them, it is enough:

  • fold a fan out of colored paper and bend it in half;
  • carefully fix the created elements with a stapler (otherwise they will simply fall apart);
  • combine the resulting blanks in circles (3 for each);
  • securely attach all parts to the base (alternatively, you can use pins).

Despite its simplicity, this solution looks impressive and attractive.

Made from natural materials

Panels made of natural materials are definitely a winning interior solution. They make the interior decoration of the room original, which will be appreciated by many sophisticated aesthetes.

Wood

The main advantages of the presented material are good quality and versatility that can decorate a wide variety of premises. To make a panel using wood, you can use one of several popular methods.

  • Pick up 10-14 boards of the same width (the length of the blanks should be different) and fix them on the wall... Fixation of elements can be performed horizontally or vertically - at the discretion of the owner of the premises. In this case, the edges of the boards should be at different levels, and it is desirable to maintain a small gap between the details of the composition.
  • Create a panel from wooden cuts, arranging them in the intended sequence. The sizes of such discs can be very different - the main thing is that the composition is perceived as organically as possible.
  • Choose a board of the required dimensions by placing the composition in its central part... To solve this problem, you can use a variety of natural decor: cones, twigs, small pebbles. To make the edges of the panel look more impressive, they should be decorated with oak bark or pieces of birch bark.

One of the most original options is the use of matches, with which the surface of the selected workpiece is pasted over.

Compositions coated with varnish deserve special attention: they boast a luxurious shine and impressive durability.

Dry flowers and leaves

Such a panel is a real find for lovers of autumn themes. For its creation, leaves and dried flowers of various shapes and shades, prepared in advance, are suitable.

To create such a composition, it is enough to follow a simple algorithm:

  • dry the collected leaves and flowers without using a press;
  • collect decorative elements in a bouquet;
  • pick up a frame with glass (its thickness should be enough for free placement of all parts);
  • position the bouquet in the center of the prepared base.

Grains, seeds and miniature twigs can be used as an additional decoration for the panel.

Groats and seeds

If you need to create a panel from available tools, the manufacturing method in question will be very useful. To solve this problem you need:

  • prepare a flat painted surface and make a sketch of the future composition on it;
  • securely attach seeds and cereals to the base with glue;
  • supplement the panel with small seeds of fruit crops (optional);
  • arrange the composition in a frame, if it is provided by the author's idea.

It is also worth noting the principle of placing elements on the surface of the product. Separately, only a relatively large decor is attached, and small parts are simply scattered over the area greased with glue.

Seashells

The presented option is ideal for connoisseurs of marine style. To create such a panel, you must:

  • choose a base: a wooden or plywood board;
  • choose a suitable material for the background, such as burlap;
  • prepare seashells (it is desirable that they differ in size and shape);
  • pre-treat the base with sandpaper if the parts are attached to it directly;
  • cut the board in accordance with the dimensions of the frame, if the latter is provided;
  • fix shells and other related decor (for example, pebbles) to the surface using hot melt glue.

You can also decorate the finished panel with a decorative frame with an acrylic coating applied to it. As for the coloring of shells and other details of the composition, it is optional.

To give the decor a natural shade, it is justified to use potassium permanganate or stain.

Crafts from thread

The described technique belongs to the direction of string art, a characteristic feature of which is the use of multi-colored threads. To create such a panel, you should:

  • prepare a wooden or plywood base of the required size;
  • create a sketch of the intended composition on paper;
  • attach a sketch to the base;
  • hammer in nails in the places provided for by the created pattern;
  • remove the paper sketch;
  • start winding threads on nails: both horizontally and vertically.

In such a composition, a variety of design options can be used:

  • flowers and stars of different shades and sizes;
  • figurines of animals;
  • hearts;
  • combinations of the above elements and much more.

To make the wall composition more voluminous, nails are driven into a shallower depth.

Panel in the technique of assemblage

The considered technique is one of the most original. It involves the use of a variety of volumetric elements, combined on a plane into an organic ensemble.

As a decor for such a panel, the following can be used:

  • buttons, beads, beads and rhinestones of various shapes and sizes;
  • coins, bolts, gears, chains and other metal objects;
  • any other details, the style of which corresponds to the author's idea.

As for the glue, PVA is the optimal solution for the background. The fixation of heavy elements is carried out with compounds based on cyanoacrylate.

The procedure for creating panels using the assemblage technique is described below:

  • choose a suitable background made of thick fabric and glue it to the base;
  • make a sketch of the future composition;
  • fix the selected decor elements with glue (the parts are attached one at a time, starting with the outer ones and ending with the central ones);
  • fill in the voids between the parts with glue and cover them with beads (if any);
  • highlight the edge using a decorative chain (optional);
  • thoroughly cover the entire composition with acrylic paint;
  • finish the surface tint with a contrasting color.

The result of the last procedure should be a scuff effect.To achieve what you want, you need to apply paint with light touches to the protruding parts of the parts.

How to make from fabric?

Talking about home-made panels, special attention should be paid to fabric compositions... Such products are suitable for a variety of styles, a special place among which is "French country" - provence... There are plenty of techniques for making such panels, and the most remarkable of them will be discussed below.

Patchwork

A key feature of this technique is the use of a wide variety of fabric scraps. These can be both the remnants of old matter accumulated on the farm, and ready-made kits for needlework.

The step-by-step creation of a panel from scraps is not particularly difficult:

  • create a sketch of the future product;
  • find a suitable fabric and cut out details from it to create a composition;
  • reliably connect all the elements in accordance with the original idea;
  • to attach the composition to the padding polyester substrate with the matter located on top of it.

When the patchwork panel is ready, it remains to place it in a suitable place - where it will look most advantageous. Experience shows that most often such compositions are placed above a bed, chest of drawers or sofa.

Sackcloth

Despite the seeming nondescriptness, this material can be an excellent solution for creating panels. Some craftsmen cover decorative frames with burlap, while others use it as a background for other elements - beads, lace or yarn leftovers.

You can make such a panel according to the following instructions:

  • prepare a board of the right size;
  • cut a suitable piece of burlap and glue it to the base (the edges of the fabric should be attached to the back of the plane);
  • take a slightly wrinkled sheet of paper and fix it on the outside of the product with glue;
  • complement the composition with several branches, shells and pieces of twine.

At the end of the main work, the edges of the panel can be decorated with small jute rings.

Kanzashi

To create a panel using the presented technique, you need multi-colored satin ribbons. The result of such work will meet all expectations - it is enough to adhere to the scheme of 5 points:

  • cut a cardboard circle of the required size;
  • glue the background from a piece of plain fabric - a fragment of jeans or burlap;
  • decorate the edges of the composition with jute and / or narrow ribbons;
  • start rolling and sticking flowers (one of the most popular options is roses) and leaves;
  • create an attachment loop made of metal or strong rope.

To make the composition look more original, roses are made of ribbons of different widths - 25 and 12 mm (the second size is also suitable for creating leaves).

If the author of the composition does not want to waste time twisting, he can purchase a ready-made decor in the store.

More ideas

Finally, it remains to mention 2 more techniques for making panels, which have their own remarkable features. The first involves the use of decorative plaster and is done like this:

  • preparation of the wall (its surface must be plastered);
  • creation of a preliminary sketch;
  • applying decorative plaster in accordance with an earlier sketch;
  • coloring the created composition.

Alternatively, you can use gypsum plaster instead of plaster. The principle of creating such a panel is about the same, but most often it is more laborious.

The second technique is the use of epoxy resin to create a panel with a 3D effect. Such products are distinguished by a pronounced depth, which can be emphasized by additional decor.:

  • seashells;
  • pebbles;
  • dried flowers.

There are three main ways to create such panels:

  • fill - the finished composition is coated with resin;
  • painting on resin - involves the use of acrylic and the creation of several layers;
  • resin painting - the material is preliminarily given the desired shades, and then it is applied to the base.

It is worth noting that the direction in question is highly complex, and therefore requires considerable skills from the performer.
