The ISOSTUD membrane deserves at least the utmost attention. This solution is represented by a profiled MC 2/20 m membrane with a weight of 400 g / m2 and other options. It is useful to understand the application of the design for the blind area and other purposes.

Peculiarities

The key specific feature of the ISOSTUD membrane is its general availability and versatility. These are waterproofing products, excellent in their effectiveness. For the manufacture of membranes, high-density polyethylene is used. The entire surface is uniformly covered with protruding areas, for which the shape of a truncated cone is typical.

The membrane is chemically resistant and can withstand exposure up to 20,000 kg per sq. m. Production is carried out entirely in Russia using modern Italian equipment.

Product range

In addition to the attractive features, the comparatively wide variety of options testifies in favor of ISOSTUD products. The width of the canvases ranges from 1500 to 3000 mm. Density ranges from 400 g / m2 to 600 g / m2. For other companies, the maximum width is limited to 2000 mm. And the specific gravity is 0.5 kg per 1 sq. m.

The 3-meter missile defense model is easy to install. When using it, it is easy to exclude the appearance of redundant joints. High density is a guarantee of strength and long service life. Separately, it is worth mentioning the technological allowance, thanks to which a special self-adhesive tape will help get rid of any leakage violations. The following options are no less remarkable.

A simple profiled membrane is also made of dense polyethylene. And it is in the same way covered with protrusions resembling a truncated cone. The height of these sections is 0.75 cm. The material successfully copes with violations of the integrity of any waterproofing coating and helps to ensure the use of structures unsuitable for repair. The density of the material is sufficient to ensure its strength and stability for a long time.

The membrane "Izostud-GEO" is also noteworthy. When it is made, geotextiles are applied on the same side as the protrusions. More precisely - one hundred percent non-woven polypropylene with increased protective and insulating characteristics. The formation of special drainage channels helps to remove excess moisture from the soil. Thanks to this property, complete drainage systems are created.

An alternative was the profiled MS 2x20 m membrane (and its exact analogue with a width of 1.5 m). The difference from the usual ISOSTUD products is not only the different width. It is also specific with a mass equal to 0.4 kg per 1 sq. m.

All mentioned types are classified as VFR. It is, as you can easily understand, about high density polyethylene.

Application area

ISOSTUD products have a unique structure and shape. These properties allow the product to be used to protect glued waterproofing. If used correctly, dry conditions in basements and plinths are guaranteed. The insulation of the walls located below the soil level is maintained. Protection is provided by placement in the gap from the waterproofing coating to the backfill layer; the coating will not crack or break.

Dryness is associated with the stable integrity of the insulation. The separating layer is another important point. When laying the ISOSTUD covering with protrusions towards the wall, an air gap is formed. This increases the thermal insulation properties of the walls and eliminates the appearance of condensation. Another topical point is blocking the growth of plant roots.

The product of the GEO class is ideally suited for the protection of waterproofing and drainage. They will be kept intact even at high water levels. Such a product has a mass of 0.12 kg per 1 sq. m. Geotextile again helps to form an air gap.

Basically, it is a filter that prevents the entry of fine soil particles, which otherwise block the normal outflow of water.

ISOSTUD products are suitable for landscaping, including areas and paths. They help stabilize the soil when constructing roads and sidewalks. A sudden failure of asphalt or tiles is excluded. Germination of grass is also prevented. Additionally, it is worth mentioning the use of such products for the foundation pavement and as a replacement for concrete preparation. The service life of ISOSTUD in this quality is noticeably longer than that of other actively used materials.

Laying it out instead of concrete preparation saves a lot of time. Meteorological conditions will hardly affect the achieved result. Rotting is completely out of the question. The product is almost 70% more profitable than traditional solutions. But the ISOSTUD membrane is also good as an exploited roof that does not allow plant roots to pass through, and is resistant to chemical and biological influences.
