Among the products of Belarusian factories, you can find all currently existing types of door panels and systems.

Manufacturers offer high-class security entrance doors that can be installed both for an apartment and for a country house. The constructions have a decent quality of materials, including coatings and fittings, and an attractive design.

You can choose from a modern minimalist front door or an intricate arched design reminiscent of the entrance to a medieval castle. A distinctive feature of Belarusian steel doors is the presence of various forged parts and intricate ornaments, which makes their appearance recognizable and memorable.

Most of the firms offering entrance doors perform them in a warmed version. These are the so-called sandwich doors or doors with a thermal break. In the design of such door panels, several levels of thermal insulation are incorporated, ensuring the absence of so-called "cold bridges" and complete preservation of heat in the room even in severe frosts. It should be noted that Belarusian insulated doors in most cases are made of high quality steel.

From some large manufacturers you can buy fireproof and smoke-proof (smoke-tight) interior doors.

They can have different levels of protection, options for both double-sided and one-sided smoke tightness are possible.

Product data have certificates of conformityobtained in the course of tests and can contain the spread of combustion products for several hours.

Interior doors are presented by Belarusian manufacturers in a huge variety. They differ primarily in the materials of execution. The buyer can purchase luxury door systems made of solid oak.

The middle price category offers alder or pine canvases. Budget doors can have a different device, they can be veneered or laminated. However, even for the cheapest panel board options, the frame is made of glued beams of coniferous species, which is a distinctive feature of Belarusian-made doors.

Models

Among the door leaves, you can choose models for every taste, however, most of the products tend to the classic design options. Varieties of interior doors offered by Belarusian factories:

  • Solid wood models with an exploded assembly.
  • Frame-panel canvases.
  • Paneled, also in combination with glass inserts.
  • Tsargovye, among which there are models with thin glass inserts.
  • Glazed, in which a large glass sheet is inserted into a solid wood frame.
  • Panel boards with glass inserts
  • For painting.
  • Under the glazing.

The so-called "French doors"that attract with the grace of numerous glass inserts.

The designs of the door systems of Belarusian manufacturers do not differ in special delicacies. In most cases, classic swing door systems are offered, equipped with conventional or hidden hinges. However, large brands also produce sliding door designs.

For example, BelwoodDoors produces two types of similar door systems.

Normal system

Normal system, the movement of door leaves in it occurs along the upper guide, designed in the form of a decorative strip.

Invisible system

The Invisible system, equipped with a hidden movement mechanism, hidden directly in the door leaf, as a result of which there is a feeling of the door moving through the air.

"Heles", in addition to swing doors, it offers folding systems, sliding open and sliding pencil cases.

The buyer can install, at his discretion, single-leaf, one-and-a-half or double-leaf doors (which are called twin doors), choosing the door leaf from the standard sizes provided in the EU countries.

Materials (edit)

Buyers wishing to install metal entrance doors can look at solid bent steel products with solid oak exterior finishes. The thickness of the metal varies from 1.6 mm to 2 mm, while the door leaf can reach 100 mm due to the presence of several layers of insulation inside. Such constructions are called sandwich doors and able to protect their owners from both the cold and the danger of intruders.

They have various style solutions and can look either luxurious and presentable, or laconic and modern. The cost of such doors starts from 25,000 rubles and can reach 114,000 rubles, for example, the Athena model of a double-sided entrance door.

For a country house, you can choose an entrance door with a thermal break, which is a novelty on the market and allows you to provide thermal insulation of the room due to the fact that inside the door leaf there is a layer of cork material with minimal thermal conductivity. Due to the presence of a cork the inner layer of the door does not come into contact with the cooling outer layer.

The material of the frame of such doors is usually steel, from the outside they can be painted by spraying, or have a finish from solid wood or from a moisture-resistant MDF board.

Such doors can have both a luxury and a budget price tag, which primarily depends on the external finish, since the quality of the main components remains high for all products.

Interior door panels from Belarusian manufacturers can be made of a variety of materials, which, in turn, significantly affects the final price tag:

  • Made of solid oak, alder or selected pine. Such products, which belong to the luxury category, cost in the range from 16,000 rubles to 27,000 rubles.
  • From glued (furniture) coniferous timber, which is then covered with veneer of noble varieties, most often oak, walnut or ash. Such doors cost in the range of 12,000-20,000 rubles.
  • Paneled doors, which consist of solid pine parts, connected by the tongue-and-groove method and are decorated with MDF panels. The cost is 5,000-6,000 rubles per canvas. In the event that glass elements are present in the structure, the cost of the door leaf increases.
  • Made of coniferous wood frame, which is filled with so-called “stiffening ribs” made of MDF and pine blocks. A similar shield is covered with MDF, then an eco-veneer (material from natural wood chips) or CPL-plastic (paper-laminated plastic) is applied on top of it. The cost of such a door leaf can range from 15,000 to 5,000 rubles.
  • From a wooden frame made of glued pine lumber, which is filled with cardboard honeycomb material and covered with MDF or chipboard. Such doors are usually faced with laminate (laminated doors). These are the most affordable doors.

Design

Design developments that are implemented in Belarusian factories for the production of doors, in most cases, emphasize the prestige of natural wood and its elegance. This is exactly what the selection of color combinations and finishes is aimed at. In many cases, the products are decorated with oak baguette, engraved glass, gold and bronze fittings.

To decorate the door leaves, satin glass is used, which can be matt and both white and bronze shades, as well as stained glass "Versace", or glass made using the fusing technique. Such inserts enhance the luxury of paneled door leaves. in traditional Victorian, Baroque or Classicism style.

"French doors", which are the embodiment of light and romantic ethno-style, also called Provence style, are made using tempered stained glass Matelux. When creating such elegant doors, light varnishes and translucent enamels are used, emphasizing the natural attractiveness of wood fibers.

Often, door frames are decorated with carved platbands, the pattern of which is harmoniously combined with paneled inserts made on the door leaf.

This creates a door that is the epitome of luxury and opulence, and this impression is enhanced by elements of gilded paneling and glass, as well as intricate engravings on glass inserts.

Similar products, created according to the sketches of Italian designers, perfectly convey the impression that can be expressed in two words: "luxurious Italy".

Modern style solutions are presented in the form of side doors with minor glass elements, transverse veneering and simple forms of door handles. Such a door leaf will look harmoniously in any of the minimalist interiors, from loft style to mysterious Gothic.

Manufacturers overview

Among the manufacturers that produce doors on the territory of Belarus, there are several of the largest companies with a stable reputation and a high rating:

BelwoodDoors, which produces both solid pine products and door panels of various fillings.

To date, collections of classic doors, modern and special doors have been created, which include anti-smoke and fire-prevention door leaves.

For the finishing of BelwoodDoors products, an eco-veneer is used, which has "3D Wоd Look" -effect; tempered stained glass Matelux, which can be decorated with Swarovski crystals; as well as a varnish that is particularly durable due to the content of nitrocellulose particles.

"Postavy Furniture Center" specializes in the production of door panels from solid pine, alder and oak. To give a more spectacular look to the products, veneering of pine frames with hardwood material is used. Glazing is carried out with white and bronze Matelux glass, processed using diamond engraving and chamfering. Platbands with capitals are made to decorate the door block. In painting, the technology of patination of oak and walnut surfaces is widely used.

"Doors of Belarus" produce both interior and entrance doors. Most of the products are made of glued pine lumber covered with fine wood veneer, however, premium-class doors are also produced from solid alder and oak, decorated with spectacular decor and with stained glass inserts. The budget segment is represented by “standard” door leaves, which, in addition to the pine frame, contain MDF, and the coating is made with eco-veneer.

From this manufacturer, you can purchase entrance doors with a glass unit, decorated with forging elements.

"Arsenal" manufactures door structures from glued solid oak, alder and pine. The use of three-layer lamellas instead of a solid sheet lightens the weight of the finished product and reduces its cost. A distinctive feature of the style of the Arsenal factory is the decorative finishing of platbands, cornices and panels, which can be figured, patterned, wavy and made in the form of a crown. Also, the doors of this manufacturer are distinguished by spectacular color schemes.

"Khales", which is a joint Belarusian-Italian venture, offers door leaves from solid pine, created according to the sketches of the famous Italian designer Antonio Maggero. Classic models are decorated with intricate panels, cornices, flute trims and baguettes. They feature engraved glass inserts, unexpected luxurious colors, and patterned wooden overlays in the form of flowers. Rear doors from this brand are distinguished by the presence of two parallel vertical stripes and therefore are easily recognizable.

Customer Reviews

You can assess how much the Belarusian-made doors are in demand by asking for reviews about them, of which there are a lot on the Internet. On numerous forums dedicated to repair, the most famous manufacturers are discussed and both the pros and cons of doors from Belarus are considered.

Among the brands considered in this article, the largest number of reviews belongs to the Doors of Belarus brand.

Many people call door models manufactured by the BelwoodDoors factory the optimal ratio of quality and price, they note that for a long time (in some cases, such doors last for 5-8 years) the door leaf did not dry out and did not get wet.

Of the shortcomings, it is mentioned that inexpensive BelwoodDoors doors have poor sound insulation and have platbands and a door frame, which is laminated, it wipes off rather quickly and swells from moisture. Therefore, buyers recommend purchasing a box and trims with an eco-veneer or veneer coating. Buyers have no complaints about solid wood doors, their cost is considered reasonable, and their appearance is very representative.

"Postavy Furniture Center", as buyers write, is notable for the poor performance of the delivery service, of which dealers are partially to blame. There are also complaints about poorly executed additions and platbands that do not match the main canvas. Some buyers, on the contrary, declare that they can only say good things about the doors of this manufacturer, note a moderate price for products made of solid pine or alder. It should be noted that mostly satisfied reviews belong to buyers from Belarus, while on the Russian market the doors of Postavy Furniture Center are insignificantly represented.

"Doors of Belarus" have excellent reviews for models made of solid pine and oak veneered. Buyers write that these are "doors, as if from a palace", they look so beautiful. Sound insulation is at the level, as well as the quality of the coating.

However, on the entrance doors made of pine frame and MDF, the coating of which is made of a special moisture-resistant film, there is a sharply negative review, accompanied by photographs. The buyer complains about peeling of the film during the first months of operation and about the manufacturer's refusal to replace it, despite the fact that the door was under warranty. There are also reviews about the purchase of door leaves with defects, it is recommended to carefully inspect the goods upon receipt.

The doors of the Arsenal factory have good reviews from Belarusian buyers, who speak of high quality and reasonable prices for these products. Many people like the rare color shades that can be found at this manufacturer.

They also praise the delivery of orders on time and in the right configuration.

As for the reviews of the products of the door factory "Arsenal" from buyers from the territory of Russia, there are almost none on the Internet, which, perhaps, is due to the fact that the supplies of this company to the Russian Federation are still few in number.

Khales has mostly good reviews. Buyers call the interior doors of this brand attractive, durable and modern. Models belonging to the middle price segment look good after several years of use, have a fairly high level of sound insulation, and the veneer coating is resistant to minor scratches. The disadvantages include the fact that the veneered coating deteriorates from moisture, therefore, it is not recommended to install such doors in bathrooms.
